"There was a little girl, who had a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead, and when she was good, she was very, very good, But when she was bad, she was homicidal!"-Emilie Autumn
She hits the ground with a loud thud. She is too weak to move, she can barely breathe. Slowly she drags herself to the cot, which will give her no comfort seeing as it is as hard as a rock. She lets out a loud scream. She stands suddenly and begins to pace around the room. It's cold. Too cold. She grabs the thin blanket off bed and wraps it around her. It's not enough, she thinks.
She sits down in a little corner of the room. Atleast she's alone, and safe. Or as safe as she could be in this mad house. The door opened again and she covered her head. She heard a thud and a girl shriek as something, most likely another inmate, hit the floor. She looked over and saw her. She wasnt very big, and her long dark hair made her look even smaller.
"Help, Please, I don't belong here!" The new girl yelled. She kicked the wall and then grabbed her foot in pain. "Let me out". Gracie raced over and covered the strange girls mouth with her hand
"Shut...Up" Gracie removed her and walked back to her corner. The girls eyes were wide as she looked over Gracie's worn appearence.
"W-who are you" The girl inched closer.
"Im Gracie, who the hell are you" She leaned her head against the wall.
"Clarissa Vigil" The girl, Clarissa, scooted closer to her. "How did you get here?"
"Same way you did, I guess. I was deemed insane by society, and now im a caged animal stuck in hell."
"Well, are you insane?" Gracie glared at her and Clarissa shrank away from her. "Guess not"
"Your beds over there" Gracie pointed to a hard looking mattress, covered in sheet. "Rules, Dont anger the guards. Do what your told, And dont mess with me. Follow those rules and you'll be fine. I think. Oh, and lights out in ten" Clarissa groaned. "Yup, Welcome to hell" Gracie smiled and layed back in her bed.
"When will they let us out" Gracie looked at her with sad eyes.
"When we die...maybe"
