I published this three times because I added some stuff, very sorry.

The day of the first task dawned a gloomy and cloudy day. Which Y/N thought was fitting.

Y/N knew exactly what she was going to do to fight the dragon. It would be painful, but she would get over it.

After breakfast, Y/N was ushered to a tent by one of her classmates. When she enters she notices how everyone looks exceedingly pale and has a worried look on their face. Of course they would, they are fighting dragons!

She silently cursed in her language earning a look from Cedric, who was watching her intensely.

Y/N just turned away flushing a bit.

Y/N's thoughts are broken when Ludo Bagman enters the tent.

"Welcome, champions! Inside this bag," here, he showed off a tan, worn drawstring bag that looked like nothing special, "are models of—well, what you'll be facing in the arena. You'll each pull one out of the bag, which will determine which one you'll each face. And they're numbered, which represents the number in which you'll compete. The rest of you must stay here until it's your turn. All the best, champions!"

And with that, Ludo Bagman held out his sack for the champions to draw from. Krum went first and pulled out a Chinese Fireball, which she knows the name of, thanks to Bagman's excited chattering. Then Diggory grabs a Swedish Short-Snout. (Hah, good luck to him.)
Delacour next, whose long fingers clasp around a Common Welsh Green.

And then oh, it's her turn and low and behold she pulls out a.. Romanian Longhorn.

"Just plan my funeral now why don't you" Y/N thought glaring at the replica in her hand.

She then turns to Harry Potter who has a Hungarian Horntail and at that moment Y/N is thankful for convincing herself to brew that Fire Protection Potion. She felt the vile in her pocket reassuring herself one last time.

Ludo claps his hands. "Your task," he says, "is to steal the golden eggs from your dragon's nest. They're all nesting mothers, so their eggs are fake, but they certainly don't know that! Be warned—they'll be vicious protecting their eggs."

And with that, Ludo Bagman bounced out of their tent. Literally bounced.  Y/N really really wanted to hex him.

Y/N sat down on one of the cushions in the room. She noticed how Cedric was pacing and how even as Cedric looked like he was about to throw up, he still looked as handsome as ever.

So Y/N went up to him and gave him  a pat on the back, not really sure how exactly to comfort him.

When the horn sounded signaling it was time Y/N gave a Cedric another pat and muttered a "Good Luck". Cedric gave her a nervous smile that made her blush hard. And walked to the arena.

Y/N sat back into her seat, her thoughts consuming her. Her plan seemed simple enough:

A day or two before the first task Y/N had been reading everything she could, she had no plan at that moment and was desperate for anything. She hated saying that, for she hated being weak. Weak didn't exist in the Ivanov family.

She laughed at herself imagining what her parents would say looking at her rummaging through library books while the task was two days away.
She pushed away the thoughts and looked through an old ancient like book.
