The Only Mistake

Chapter 3

C: I'm sry Liv but I don't feel the same, But i promise nothing will change. 

O: thats ok i understand 

L: hey Sis you ok? 

O: y-yea I-Um I'm fine. she says holding back water works

*she hands Lily to Colton and runs out the car and straight to her room*

(Olivia POV) 

How could I be so fucking stupid, ofc he doesn't like me back. im absolutely ugly, why am i not surprised.

(Colton POV) 

I feel so bad, i do like her just im kinda confused about how i feel about her. i can't tell her how i feel after i brutally rejected her. OMFG IM LITERALLY THE DUMBEST GUY ON EARTH. she's so nice and caring, OMG. i have officially caught feelings but again my dumbass ruined it. I should go check on her i can't leave her alone not like this.

C: cmon lets go check on your big sis

L: ok 

I was crying in my room with my back facing away from the door when i heard someone knock. Who is it i asked, Its Lily i heard back. Come inn i replied. she saw i was in pain and just hugged me. I patted a spot right in front of me in my bed for her to lay in. she could tell i was hurting so she comforted me. As i was balling my eyes out while holding Lily i heard a voice say "i know im the last person you want to talk to rn but i am your best friend so i dont care if you dont want me here, im staying anyways." i turned around knowing that it was the one and only COLTON!!! he looks at me with this im really sorry face and just opens his arms signaling for me to hug him. how could i reject him he's the cutest. i get up and hug him right as i hug him i completely fall apart in his arms. he walks over to my bed with me still in his arms and sits down. i was a complete MESS. i had my head on his shoulder an he was rubbing my back while telling me "im sorry and everything is going to be ok"  

L: Liv u ok? Lilly says with a soft innocent voice 

O: yea im ok, come here i say as i open my arms

L: I love you 

O: I love you too babygirl 

~~~~~~~~~~15 mins later~~~~~~~~~~

C: she's out, want me to go put her in her bed?

O: No its ok i got it. 

*she puts Lilly in her bed and walks into her room still processing everything*

C: Hey, Im sorry about everything. i wanna tell you how i really feel but im afraid that ill end up hurting you. 

O: its fine at this point im just numb, what could you possibly say worse than what you did in the car. 

C: Olivia, i like you A lot more than you would think but i just dont know if i can truly be a good bf for you. i dont want to end up doing something stupid and breaking your heart. Thats my worst nightmare, I hate seeing you like this and i wish I could just cuddle with you and show you that everything is going to be ok now that im with you. 

O: I-I didn't know you felt that way. look ill make sure you dont do anything stupid and if you do ill always love you and listen to the whole story. 

C: Well if thats the case then, Ummm. Olivia Amanda Alexander Will you be my Girlfriend?! 

O: Yes ofc i will, just plz dont break my heart dumbass. 

C: i won't, Promise 

(Third person POV)

He looked at her and pulled her closer to him and he went in for a kiss. it was a very passionate one. they then cuddled in bed while watching a movie. Olivia fell asleep in his arms he was overwhelmed with emotions but knew he had to do one thing and one thing only. and that was to protect her.
