Emiko's Story

The picture above is a rough outline of what she looks like! But the outfit is not accurate in the slightest. Please refer to the section where I poorly describe her outfit if you want an idea of what it actually looks like. (I used the app Monster Girl Maker 2. Weird, I know, but it works)

This chapter is solely information on this character! She is an original character that I created, and honestly I love her so much already. I put a lot of time into constructing her story and making it as plausible as possible.

The following are the basics of what you need to know about Emiko. There is also some background information on her clan at the end. While the character is (of course) not canon, her clan and the history surrounding them is pulled straight from Naruto. I spent a loooonnngg time researching about her clan because it actually turned out to be very fascinating. It helps show you a little more about her jutsu and will help you understand some of the major plot points in the beginning. Also: I'm sorry if my rating system of her skills seems weird or doesn't make that much sense! It came straight from my sleep deprived and very adhd brain.

Name: Emiko Kusakin
Age: 23 (When Naruto is about 11, Itachi is 19, and Kakashi is 27. Sorry if it's a weird but I'm comparing the ages because this story goes through a bunch of different periods in time and I think the comparison will give you a good idea of what's going on through all the time jumps.)

Appearance: She's quite petite so people tend to underestimate her but she is actually very strong for her stature. She has white hair that is just below shoulder length with short pieces in the front and two little space buns on top. She is also pretty pale with freckles on her face and shoulders. She has large red eyes (garnet, ruby, wine, that sort of color. very rich but not neon red or anything).

Personality: Fun, energetic, optimistic, adventurous, loyal, kind, selfless, determined, ambitious, sociable, honest, spontaneous, brave, and vibrant. She's honestly the type of person to walk into a room and instantly make new friends. Emiko has a very strong tendency to stand up for the underdog. She is compassionate and loving with everything she does.

Outfit (I plan on commissioning an artist to draw her so when that happens, I'll upload the picture! Until then, please bare with my horrible description of clothing): She has a navy blue overall kind of dress/skirt thing. The skirt goes down to just above the knee and has two large pockets in the front. The skirt has a pretty long slit on the right side thigh for easier access to her thigh kunai holster. Around the waist on her skirt/dress thing is where she wears her Hidden Leaf headband. Since she's super super petite, she just made it into a belt. Under the skirt she is wearing a grey turtle neck that's sleeves come down to just above the elbow. She also has navy blue fingerless gloves that have her clan symbol on them. Of course, she has the classic shinobi sandal things that every character has. When she is younger: When she is a child (at the very beginning of this series), the outfit is simply a navy blue sleeveless dress with her clan symbol on the front.

Clan Info: The Kusakin Clan first began as the Senju Clan. The Senju Clan and the Uchiha Clan were once the most known and powerful Clans within the Clan Wars. The Senju Clan would always be the counter to the Uchiha Clan. The leader, Senju, Hashirama would soon start a peace treaty with the Uchiha Clan. Although he was the only one to utilize Mokuton within the Clan, the trait was something very dormant.

The Uchiha Clan leader, Uchiha, Madara accepted and thus formed the Hidden Leaf Village under the Fire Country. The Kusakin gained its birth as a rogue Senju Clan ninja soon left the village, Senju, Fuu. He was known within the village for his powerful Fuuton usage within techniques. Being unable to accept the alliance with the Uchiha Clan, the ninja started his own family which soon became a Clan. Little did he know that he had the recessive traits that Hashirama had. Soon the Clan became a group of ninja that used Grass Whistling Techniques. Unknown to them that they held the Mokuton traits, a mutation occurred around the time of each Village's destruction which turned the Mokuton traits into Dominant Traits. They soon began to turn their Grass-Whistling Ninjutsu into Flower petaling techniques, along with vines and was known as the Grass-Users of Hidden Grass Village.

In time, the Hidden Grass Village slowly begin to die out. The clan realizing how strong they were, single-handedly took out the Grass Village utilizing their Mokuton abilities. They declared it as their Clan house. Though a clan out in the open, the Kusakin Clan soon moved to Leaf, being the closest village nearby, not knowing they were once there to begin with.

The ability of the Kusakin Clan is simple. They fuse Suiton and Doton to form Mokuton abilities. Majority of Kusakin Ninja have a wide-array of jutsu to learn from, but they are considered Adults when they finally are able to actually form Wood.

They can learn techniques such as vines and flowers, depending on the nature of what kind of foilage they'd like to create.
