"Do you want to be a time patroller?"

It was the second time Zina had heard the question. The first time was from a purple haired saiyan named Trunks who changed his hair golden blonde and proceeded to slap Zina around like she was a child because she made the mistake of attacking him. Now Zina was hearing the question again from a spiky, orange haired human who was flying in front of a giant holographic statue of himself and a pale saiyan. The pale saiyan was standing on the ground beneath the human. Zina knew who these two were. Ever Since she made the idiotic choice to abandon her simple life of exterminating planets for an evil overlord, and go to place that exists outside of time, she's seen nothing but their faces. Whether it was on the giant hologram at the center of this city, or on one of the many videos she was forced to watch that depicted the two fighting untold amounts of red eyed, purple hued people. The human's name was Ukog and the saiyan's name was Marcus. Right now, they were addressing a big group of saiyans, humans, namekians, majins, and a few beings that looked like Zina's old boss. Everyone in the group wore the same black and blue battle vests that had become their daily uniforms.

"I know you all have heard this question before from whoever dragged you here from your old life." Ukog admitted as he scratched his short, spiky hair, "But here's where you're really going to find out your answer."

I'm still not actually sure where here is? Zina thought as she looked around with her blue eyes.

She was at the center of "Conton City". Besides ignoring the giant hologram, Zina usually spent her time chatting with time patrollers who got their missions, and equipment here. The time patrollers would be huddled around white, round buildings staffed by robots who gave out the missions, and equipment.

"Today you will decide if you truly have what it takes to be a patroller." Ukog continued his speech and tone becoming valiant as he started to really get into what he was saying, "You will find out if you have the heart, the passion. The strength, the-"

"Quit yapping, and let's just weed out the weaklings already!" Marcus yelled, interrupting Ukog as he shot up an annoyed look with his blue eyes.

"Come on, Marcus!" Ukog whined as he flew back down towards Marcus "you said you'll let me finish this time."

"And you said you'd stop spewing nonsense that no one needs to hear." Marcus argued as he crossed his arms over his all black battle suit. In fact, his attire was black from head to toe.

As Ukog and Marcus began to bicker the crowd began to start their own conversations.

"What do you think is going to happen next?" A red haired human next to Zina asked.

Zina rolled her eyes as she heard Dabb speak. She hated that her punching bag followed her around everywhere she went. I mean despite being a human, Zina thought Dabb was a pretty good sparring partner, but she had no real interest for him outside of that.

"I don't know. Sounds like they're about to test us, or something." Zina plainly answered her voice void of emotion.

"Is it going to be like a written test or something?" A grey creature with antennas on his forehead worryingly asked.

More annoyance boiled in Zina as she heard Dabb's albino namekian tag along. Zina was pretty sure it called itself Radd.

"Don't be stupid. Why would they gather warriors from across the timeline just have us write a paper?" Zina responded, her voice displaying a tinge of annoyance from Radd's comment.

"I don't know maybe like-"

"Alright! Let's get started!" Marcus boomed as he dragged himself away from his argument with Ukog and addressed the crowd.
