Piece 3: You

A girl with black raven hair,
Captivated me as I saw her,
She is a queen for the heir,
A lovely lady who is  worthy of my care,

We become friends,
Whose happiness never ends,
Our Laughter truly blends,
Like a melody so sweet until the very end,

You make me smile every day,
By the slightest smile and words, you say,
Like a piece of music I want to hear every day,
You are a melody in the guitar I want to play,

You are indeed like Juliet in the story,
But I'm not the Romeo whom you will genuinely marry,
For I don't belong in this miserable story,
Because I'm just an extra sitting on the ferry.

Words became my only hope for you,
Their strong meanings are indeed out of the blue,
How I wish they were sufficiently true,
For to me, they are not enough to express how much I love you,

I drove my attention to you away,
For I think this is the only way,
To ease the pain in my everyday,
To forget the day about the things I say,

You tried to reach me,
But it's also hard to flee,
For the sight of you gives me glee,
But I can no longer be how I used to be,

You tried to ask me what happened,
But I can't figure  how did it end,
The lady I want unto the end,
Suddenly vanished and it ends,

You came to me with a bottle in hand,
You gave it to me, and a letter is attached at its end,
I read carefully not to miss any word unto the end,
But tears suddenly fall unto the cheek,
It says we are no longer friends,
Nor enemies,
But strangers with memories,
A message unto the end,

I know it's indeed my fault,
I regret that I become so selfish,
I regret that I didn't cherish our friendship,
I regret I lost the person who also cared for me,

I regret everything,
I regret that I lost the Angel who is so tender and sweet,
But for now, I'm happy for you and will always be happy that I meet you,
I hope you are happy that the days I spent with you are indeed a dream come.
