you had broken into a sprint. your breath heavy, as spells dart towards you, the bark of the trees flicking off and hitting your skin harshly.

"hermione!" you call, "ron! harry!" you hoped for someone to at least call back, but you were soon welcomed with your answer.
before you, stood your three best friends apprehended, "oh shit." you grumble, trying to catch your breath.

before another can grab you, you twist round and punch them in their nose, the satisfying crack coming before your rushed spell, "stupefy!" you cast, one man flinging off and hitting a tree.

you part your chapped lips to cast another, but before you could, the expelliarmus charm knocks your wand out into the air.

"let go of me! you brute!" you snap.
"very pretty this one too." the man from behind you grinds himself into you, his filthy lips hovering over your neck.
"don't touch her!" hermione calls, her jaw being held.

i attempt to kick back the criminal holding me by my arms, but before i could, we were warped.

"get off of me!" you thrash, watching as your world goes dizzy, your body slammed to the floor.

"and what's this pretty lady?"
you look up and meet eyes with bellatrix, the woman that had murdered your parents a while back.
"you bitch!" you scream, reaching for your wand until you realize it's not where it's supposed to be, but in the hands of draco malfoy.

"draco?" you gasp for air, "what-"
he shakes his head, looking at you with pained eyes. he was trembling, his breath was clearly unsteady.

you look around, hermione sprawled out on the floor as she's pinned down.
she screams, piercing your ears and it prickles your eyes with tears.

"let go of her!" you yell, your arms being thrown onto the wooden floorboards.
"get this one, draco."

his eyes fall over you, a gulp forming in his throat. his eyes suddenly light up, a hopeful glint in his eyes as he wonders over.

you now lay beneath him, his hands holding your wrists down, legs keeping yours from thrashing about.
"do it draco!" bellatrix giggles, hermione's face watching over my frail body as a tear escapes the corner of her eye.

i look up to the platinum blonde i'd tried to understand for years, i couldn't give up on him yet. surely not.

he leans down to your neck, your breath hitching as your heart thumps in fear and adrenaline.
"scream. just scream." he says, pulling away before leaning into your arm, wand grasped like a blade.
"now."

you let out bloodcurdling screams, and arch your back, letting out the anger and distress through these screams. he pushes down, as you squeeze your eyes shut with despair.

"petrificus totalus!" he yells above you, handing you back your wand and giving you his hand.
"bombarda!" you cast, the dungeon gate swinging open with a crash of dust flying through.

as if you all knew, you grab hermione. everyone attaches themselves to one another, warping sooner or later.

you fall to the ground, heavily breathing as you try to pick yourself up. but every time you try, - you fall down back onto the sand.

hands are protectively wrapped around your body, your eyes letting out pain as your head screams for mercy.
"shh, shh," draco's voice fills your ears, "it's okay." he continues, "this isn't your fault okay? i promise." he pulls you into his chest, tighter than you could ever imagine.

soon enough, your sobs are long gone, and you stare up at the man that saved the four of you.

you look to your left, hermione and ron embraced in a comforting moment. to your right was harry, his body limp as he watches the sea in front of you.

you feel draco stroke a thumb across your cheek, "it's going to be okay. i've got you."
you nod, pressing yourself back into his chest.
