I knew this was the last time I would see him before he left, and to be honest it was tearing my heart in two. There was nothing I could do to prevent him leaving, he doesn't even know I exist. This was the hard part.
I half walked half ran to the airport. I knew I would just be part of the crowd, un-noticed by anyone except security guards, but this was the last time seeing him and I had to be there.
I wasn't going to hurt anyone, and I wouldn't hurt anyone anyway. I was going because I could, even it caused people a little more trouble than it would if I didn't go, it wouldn't hurt them so it was fine.
The automatic doors of the airport were finally in front of me and I walked through the doors instantly to keep the cool winter air out. The inside was warmer and I thought I'd keep it that way.
I stole directions from the signs and eventually found my way to where I knew I was supposed to be. It was louder because there were more people, you could tell there was something going on by the way everyone's back was turned jumping repetitively and cameras were flashing away signalling pictures.
Their concert was just two days before now and I had gone to see them. I was right near the front, and even though there were lots of people the group wasn't as popular as it was in other places so I got in quick and got a place.
I was just behind the crowd and I started my way moving through it. I had a small body so I could fit through everyone without too much commotion. I made my way to the front where I saw them, the people I came to see, and more importantly, the guy I needed to see.
I didn't realise until now how much I needed to see him again.
The security guards were pushing us back and the fans behind me were pushing me forward, I almost fell a few times but my eyes tried their best to stay on him no matter what.
When the group moved so did the fans, and so did I. They were making their way to the plane they were going to leave in. My heart suddenly ached and my body moved on its own, that or the fans behind me pushed me.
Soon I was making my way along with the fans towards them. They had stopped so as to say their final goodbyes to the fans here. Waving aimlessly towards us they all smiled and one by one walked through the walkway we couldn't follow after, until it was his turn, he turned around and he then waved like his group members did but his eyes where somewhere directly.
My heart stopped.
It's like that happened at the concert. Exactly like it.
There was no mistaking those eyes and that look.
Once again, just like the concert, only in the airport.
His eyes were on me...
And my world stopped. I wasn't expecting it to happen again.
I copied his smile and waved like he did, just before he turned around and walked through the walkway himself.
As soon as the other fans stopped holding me up with their mere existence around me, I crumbled to the floor. My adrenaline I didn't even know was there had died out.
My mind wasn't working properly.
My mind wouldn't stop thinking of him.
Why. Why did his eyes catch mine again. Was it coincidence? It had to be. But how? There had to be a way.
My mind was so crowded with my thoughts I didn't realise when I'd passed out on the floor of the airport, at the entrance to their plane walkway.
