What happened 5 years ago

I have been in touch with Smita ever since. I tried to help her to get out of the abusive relationship. I used my contacts to negotiate with her husband. Smita filed for divorce. We met a lot during this time frame. I didn't told Sana anything coz she already had a lot of work stress. I didn't want to pile up another stack on it.

2 days b4 my birthday smita came to visit me on the shoot. She was also shooting for her drama in the nearby set. After finishing the shoot, I went on having coffee with her.

After the coffee, I went straight to the jewelry shop to buy her a ring. I don't know when I might have a change of mind, so it was better to follow my heart. my birthday was in next 2 days. It would be the best opportunity to propose her. After looking an hour for the best ring I finally found the one for her.

I wanted to tell my mom first about it, so I went straight back home. When u rang the door bell, I was shocked to see Shehnaaz at the other end. I don't want to ruin the surprise, so I went straight to change my clothes. I was so happy in my own lala land that I didn't recognize that Sana was acting a bit strange that day.

After 2 days, I was finally ready to pop the question to her. It was 12:00 am at night. Although I always sleep at 10:00, but since it was my birthday I was waiting for her call. We haven't spoken much during the past 2 days. She's lately busy with her work or that what she said. I waited for an hour but didn't get any call from her. Now I was a bit worried. Is she mad on me for something I don't know about? If that's the thing will she accept my proposal?

Kushal came to my house at 10:00 In The morning. We went to hair salon and shopping after that. I was constantly checking my phone. But she didn't even send me a single msg. Late night I wanted to get back home but he insisted on visiting a last place together. As I entered, it was dark in there and then boom surprise. My eyes were only glued to my girl who put a lot of efforts into it. I gave her a tight hug and kissed her forehead.

As I was meeting the guest, I was surprised to see Smita there. I haven't introduced her to Sana yet. Might be this was the right time. As we were talking, the waiter drop a drink on her dress. She needs to clean it ASAP. So I took her to the washroom downstairs. When she returned she asked me to if I was ready for the next step as we have both promised to each other that we will take a step ahead for our better future. I wasn't sure if Sana's mood so I was a bit hesitant. But she assured me that everything's gonna be fine. I took a deep breath and went back to the terrace. I was nervous but adamant to ask her today. I was searching for her, but couldn't get a sight of her. And then my phone's screen flashed with a msg "goodbye"....
