It was only twenty minutes from where we were. Kellen dropped me off in the parking garage and I got out. "Okay. I'm fine, I can go."
Kellen popped his head out of the window. "Sure. Just call us when you're done."
"Yeah. Thanks for driving me here. Sorry we had to leave."
Kellen smiled a little. "Nah. They were kind of loud, anyway."
I shook my head. "Sleeping with Sirens is a rock band, of course they're going to be loud."
Kellen waved his hand. Kaleb grunted, and I laughed. "Sleeping with Sirens is a good band."
"Damn right." I seconded. I looked around, looking for an elevator.
"'Kay. Call us."
"Yeah. Bye." I said and watched them drive away. I wonder what they're going to go do....hmmm...I don't really care, actually.
I walked to the nearest elevator and realized I didn't know which floor I was going on. I called Ally.
"Hey." She answered.
"Hi. Which floor?" I asked her.
"Ohhh... Sorry. I didn't tell you. Floor 5. You almost here? He's asking for you."
I smiled. Luke was asking for me. "Yeah. On the elevator." I pressed the button for it to open.
"Okay. I'll tell him. See you soon." Ally said. The elevator opened and I got in.
"Sure." I hung up. Since there was no one else in the elevator, I changed my shirt. It was a SWS shirt I got about a year ago, with their album, How it feels to be Lost, on it.
I sighed and put my Hunter Hayes shirt in my oversized purse-bag thing.
It opened on Floor 5 and I walked to the nearest nurse. "Uh. Luke Peters."
She looked at her computer and looked up at me. "Room eight."
I smiled my thanks and walked to the door and knocked on it. "Hello?" I heard Gavyn call out.
"Hey, y'all. It's me."
"Let her in." I heard Luke say and smiled.
Ally opened the door and I saw most of my friends from church. I smiled at all of them.
"Kristin." Luke said.
His leg was in a cast and looked swollen. He had a cut on his lip and eyebrow, and some bruises on his arm.
I hated seeing him like this. I closed my eyes. I breathed out, and slowly opened one eye. Maybe If I pretend he's not here, he won't be.....
"I'm still here, Kris." Luke said.
"Sadly," I muttered. I walked to the bed he was lying in.
"Yeah, well. Can't help that." Luke smirked and I laughed. Only when he pressed his thumb under my eye did I realize I was crying.
"I'll be okay, Kristin."
I felt more tears fall. "I don't like seeing you here, though." I couldn't meet his eyes.
"No one does." I heard Bane say, and I looked up at him. "Hey, Bane."
"Hey, Kristin." He smiled sweetly at me. I looked at my shoes, my red swayed high-top vans.
"You believe I'll be okay, right? I will be." Luke lifted my chin gently to meet his eyes. He gave a me a reassuring smile.
I smiled back at him. We stared at each other for a good minute. His dirty blonde hair was kind of crazy, making him look cute. The smile I fell in love with forever ago was playing at the edge of his lips.
Luke and I have only gone on a couple dates, here and there. We liked each other, it was pretty obvious. I just wasn't ready to change our relationship to 'dating.' He said he understood and to come to him when I was ready. I smiled, remembering when I told him that.

Luke nodded his head and I smiled at him. "I'm sorry, Luke. I'm just....." I shrugged my shoulders. "Not ready."
I looked up in his eyes. "You better be sure to come to me when you are ready." Luke said.
I turned to sit on the nearest chair. I smiled back at him. "Of course. It could take a long time, however."
He sat beside me.
"So? A long time doesn't scare me, Kristin." Luke said and grabbed my hand. I looked at him. Then at our hands.
I looked away at some pictures on the wall. "We've made some good memories here, eh?" I said, smiling at each picture of my friends.
"This is where we met." Luke said.
I looked back at him. "We never talked. For a long time."
"Gradual friendship. It took time." He said slowly and quietly.
"I don't think I will ever forgive myself for never talking to you in the beginning." I whispered.
"You should. We talk now."
"I think we do more than talk." I said, referring to our feelings.
"And what's that?" He sat back in his chair.
"Feel.....feelings. And stuff." I blushed and looked away.
"Kristin." I looked at him. "When you're ready, I'll be here. No matter how long." Luke said and grinned.
We sat there, just looking at each other. Luke.....you don't know what you're getting yourself into, I thought.
But I'm glad he is...There's something about him.
"Oh, yeah?" I smiled playfully at him and he leaned in and I leaned in and...-

"But, I'm glad you're here. I'm sorry you have to be here instead of at the concert." Luke sounded sad.
"What? What are you talking about?" I managed to let out a little laugh. "Why are you sorry? They'll be back someday and I'll see them again."
Hopefully, later tonight. "Yeah, I know how much you love them." Luke looked away.
"And Kellin." I didn't realize Bane was right beside me. He playfully punched my shoulder. I laughed.
I nodded my head. "Well. How are you doing, by the way, Luke?"
"Oh, I'm fine." He responded.
I saw a nearby chair was empty and I sat down in it. Gavyn was sitting on the edge of it. She smiled at me and I smiled back. "How are you?" I asked.
"Good. I hope Luke gets better."
I sighed and looked at him. "We all do."
I smiled sadly and looked at my phone. It read 8:49. The band should be done in an hour or so. I tapped my foot, getting sort of impatient. I prayed a silent prayer, hoping somehow, it would come true.....
'God, please help Luke. I care about him like crazy and just....heal him, okay?' I got up and mentally shook my head. I walked the short distance to Luke's bed and touched his hand.
"I'm going to go get some air outside, okay? I'll be back in a couple minutes." I smiled at him.
"Sure." He smiled back and I walked out of the room. The tears didn't officially start til I was outside.
"God, you make sure he's going to be okay!" I yelled to the sky.
"Your boyfriend?" A voice behind me said and I jumped a thousand feet.
"Whoa, there." I heard Kellin say and felt his hand on my shoulder. I looked up in his eyes.
"Kellin!" I blurted. "What are you doing here?" I asked and looked around.
