It was at night. I was at my balcony staring at the stars while sobbing silently as I remember our memories. Me and jungkook. Those times when we both were happy together. We loved each other so damn much. But why do good people have to suffer? Why? I know that there is always a reason behind what happened, is happening and what will happen but why do we have to be the forbidden fruit?
I sighed as I continued to silently cry my pain away.
"Yn honey what's wrong?!" I heard a voice behind me say as I felt a hand on my shoulder. I quickly wiped my tears with my sleeve before turning around with a fake smile. "Nothing I'm totally fine Jennie i-" I cut off
"Were you crying?!" She asked with a concern look on her face.
"M..me I wasn't crying. My eyes just hurt" I chuckled nervously hoping she would buy the lie.
"Yn can you stop what your doing to yourself. It's not good for health-"
Of course she wouldn't buy it
"Jennie what are you talking about? Those tears we're tears of joy. I've never been this happy" I lied
"Happy you say?! Is happy what you call skipping your meals, overworking yourself and sleepless nights, huh?!" She asked looking deep into my eyes. I looked down avoiding the eye contact. She sighed before she continued
"Yn you can't always act tough, because jungkook is your weakness and I know that you still love him" I quickly looked at her "love him? I don't even like him. I'm so over him" I said chuckling with tears in my eyes threatening to fall. Again I lied.
"Liar! I've raised you yn!. I've known you your whole life so you can't even lie to me." She said putting her hand on my shoulder
"Are you really over him when you cry yourself to sleep every night, holding his picture and his flowers while eating his favorite chocolate that he always brings for you? Are you?!" She sighed "yn think about what you're doing now. You're not only hurting him but yourself too. You can't be mad at him forever" she said before pulling me into her embrace.
