Heartbreak

The Truth 😳

I called my best friend to see what was up and she didn't answer so I texted her and asked if she was okay. She didn't reply for about an hour. When she replied she said "I'm sorry I haven't checked up on you or anything I've been real busy can we talk later?". I texted her back and said "sure" I was super confused. I just brushed it off though I didn't think anything of it. I finally was able to get some rest and I fell asleep. I woke up around 9:45 and the dance was at 5:00. I haven't decided on whether or not I wanted to go. Quint woke up and kissed me and asked if I was okay and went and made us some breakfast. I looked at my phone and had a missed call from Nay. I called her back she answered and sounded really upset. "hello? nay?" I said
"Hey um I have to tell you something very important I'm so sorry, I know about the whole situation I ended up setting you up. There was this man I met a couple days ago I seen him with your mom and he was flirting with me and asked me if I had any friends that would be interested in him. I gave him your name and told him that you stayed with your mom. He texted me and told me that he was at the house and I told him you'd most likely be in your room. He told me what he was going to do he gave me 3 grand to shut up about it. I really needed the money and just watching you have everything really pissed me off. You have the best relationship, a bomb ass job, & you carry your self so proudly I could never have any of it. I just wanted you to feel my pain and see how it feels to be disgusted and feel so low."
  I was so lost for words I just started crying I couldn't say anything or do anything I just stuck there froze and in disbelief . Quint came up stairs with the food and asked me what was wrong and when Nay heard his voice she instantly hung up the phone. I told him everything that happened and he called Agent Smith. He told him everything I told him. Agent Smith told him he would stop by Nay's house to talk to her and about 30 minutes went by when we got a call from Agent Smith he told us Nay had committed suicide. I just couldn't believe what I was hearing, I officially decided I wasn't going to prom and I was switching my classes to online only. I didn't want to be around anybody except Quint he made me feel so safe and secure.
    A couple weeks had went by and now at this point I started to forget everything and finally was able to get the truth from my mother about my father. She told me he was dead because he also raped her and drugged her that's how she ended up getting addicted to drugs. She was so scared of him she did any and everything he wanted. She also told me if she was able to she would've stopped him from hurting me she would've killed him if she could've  and how she was so happy to be a grandma. I believed her, I told her I loved her so much and pray rehab helps her so she can be here for her grand kids and myself.  In a couple days was my fathers sentencing he pleaded guilty due to multiple other woman and girls coming forward. I was happy he was finally getting what he deserved.  Today was the day we got our first ultrasound and heard the heartbeats of our babies it was so emotional for both of us.
  We made it to our appointment and when the nurse did the ultrasound we both cried like babies they were so little but so big. Hearing their heartbeats filled me with joy and excitement I couldn't wait to be a mom.
