This is it. The Sacred Palace. I never knew it was this old. In my mind, it was majestic, filled with living. But. This place in front of me is...is...gloomy and dark. I shivered. What is in there. I felt a pair of hands on my shoulders. I turned around, it was my sweet James. He took off his coat and draped it on me. Ever since my mom died and I'm stuck in the orphanage, I had a crush on James. He was sweet, caring, and most of all handsome. He smiled at me. Then frowned as Tiffany grabbed his hand and took him far across the courtyard. She started flirty with him. I can feel the anger boiling in me, but Tiffany is the daughter of Madame Scarlet. She has her way of saying not to interfere.

"Hey, Hailiya!" I spun around and saw my besties. The twins hugged me.

"Hey, Abigail, hi, Allison!" I tried to sound cheerful.

"You're not happy to see us?" Abigail asked.

"Of course not! It's just..." my voice trailed off. I looked behind me, gazing at James.

"Ohhhh. It's about James! Did he not like you?" Allison teased.

"No. It's not that. James and I are getting along then that Tiffany came." I whispered.

"That Tiffany! Always wanting what you have. First, it was your mother's bracelet, then the family heirloom, then, your beautiful silky hair, now your James!" Abigail dropped her hands at the ground.

"Okay! Children, gather around me. Everyone will be handed a jewel. Amethyst goes with Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby. Same thing for the jewels I said. Hailiya! You are an Amethyst, come get it." I pushed through the crowd and gotten my Amethyst. I stared down at it. It wasn't right. When it was on Madame Scarlet's hand, it wasn't shining so brightly. Now it is in my own hands. The Amethyst is shining so brightly now. I don't get it.

"I got Sapphire!" Allision exclaimed.

"I got Ruby!" Abigail gasp. "We're all in a team!"

"Who is Emerald?" I asked.

"Me." I turned around to see Jame holding the shining Emerald in his hand.
