It all started with one special guy named Trevor. He was the love of my life. But he's the reason I don't trust guys anymore. He's the reason I put my guard up with everybody. He's the reason I can't love anymore. He's the reason for my crying & my pain & suffering. He's the reason for everything. I hate him. But, he WAS the love of my life. After we broke up I went to see a therapist. She really didn't make it any better. She told me to remind myself of how hurt I felt. All I could think was, damn what kind of therapist is she supposed to be. She was really aggravating. I ain't even come back after the first day. It's been 2 years & I haven't seen Trevor. I'm glad too.
I have a best friend August. We've known even other since we were in diapers. Our moms were really close. My mom died in a car accident the same year me & Trevor broke up which made it even harder for me. Trevor didn't give 2 shits about my family or me for that matter. He was an asshole. People always ask me how I felt when my parents died. It hurt but not really. See my mom, she never liked me. She never cared for me. She always cheated on my dad. My dad cheated on her. They spilt us up. By U.S. I mean my sister and brother. I have one brother and one sister. They made my older sister stay with my grandma and they made my older brother stay with my dads parents. We all used to get abused by them. It was a fucked up family.
August tho, August on the other hand Is the sweetest person you could ever meet. I really wanna date him & he's been trying to date me ever since we were in the 8th grade. But I told him no. Only because I said I would never date a thug. Yea. He's a thug. He's a real thug. He's the "don't play with his money" type of guy. He'll kill you today & will have a good nights sleep tonight. That's just the type of person he is.
My dad used to be a thug.
He got killed last year. In his will, he handed down his business to me. I'm taking over. I'm like the head boss of everything gang related. I was in the game about a year ago like right after my dad passed but I really didn't have the energy for it anymore. Don't get me wrong I will shoot a nigga quick fast & in a hurry if he play with my money but overall I told August to handle everything. See, the reason I don't date thugs is because I am one. People would always tell me that me & August would look so cute together. But I don't wanna mix business with pleasure. That's just how I am. I really like August tho. He's nice,funny,sweet, & when he gets mad, it's the sexiest thing ever. But that's just me. That's just how I am. I'm Ciara.
