Chapter 4: The Date

Jennette's POV

Nathe and i are in his car driving to the park. Where Miranda and Jerry are gonna be there. Yay! Note my sarcasm. If he all he wanted was to have a night out with friends, he could've just said so! But nooo, he asked me out in a romantic way, he greeted me in a romantic way but wrecks the whole god damn thing by-

Nathan: Nette, we're here. And look, there's Miranda and Jerry!

Jennette: Yay.... so fun! Sure... really fun!

Me and Nathan walk over to Miranda hand in hand. She's wearing a nice casual dress with an apron around her waist. She's just standing there smiling with a clipboard in her hand.

Miranda: Hey guys! Nathan, it's all ready for you. Jerry is over there getting the final touches

What final touches? Why do you have a clipboard? WHAT'S GOING ON?!?!

Nathan: Thanks so much Manda!

She just smiles then walks off. Nathan still grips onto my hand and we see Jerry in a casual tux. Kind of like Nathan's but he has an apron around his waist like Miranda and instead of a neck tie, he's wearing a bowtie. Behind Jerry is a curtain that drapes to the ground.

Jerry: Mr. Kress, Miss. McCurdy, you're date awaits. Me and Miranda will be leaving now. Enjoy you're date. Nathan, just open the curtain and you whole date is inside.

Nathan: I owe you one Jerry, same to you Miranda. Enjoy your night!

The two just smile and wave goodbye then walk off. Nathan opens the curtain to reveal a picnic under the stars. The picnic is decorated with rose petals, candles, fairy lights, lanterns and flowers. It's so beautiful! I just smile at Nathan and he smiles back. You can tell his smile is saying "Relieved". We walk in and sit on the blanket. I just look around the beautifully decorated place. I guess this is what he meant by meeting Miranda and Jerry at the park. It's all so beautiful.

Nathan: I know it isn't much for a first date and i guess you're wanting to dress fancy for some fancy restaurant but i thought you dressing up how you normally would and us being alone together would be more comfortable and more romantic.

Jennette: It is perfect Nathe. You don't need to change a thing. Although i said this before, you're in fancy dress...

Nathan: I'm not gonna strip no matter how sexy you look naked!

Jennette: *blushes* Woah there, i meant by taking off your tie and not having your buttons up all the way. Jeez, way to jump to conclusions Nathe!

Nathan: Oh, well ok.. *does what jennette has told him to do* Any better?

Jennette: Yep! Now, what did you pack?

Nathan: Grilled cheese, more grilled cheese, more grilled cheese. Don't worry, they're hot and i do have more things in here. Chocolate covered strawberries, extra chocolate dip, chips, water, Coke and that's it- wait.... there's one more thing. A... oh my gosh....

Jennette: A condom?!?! You're willing to have sex with me after this date?!?! You sicko! That's gone too far! Go ahead and f*** some other girl on their first date! Just not me!

Nathan: I DIDN'T PUT IT IN THERE! Jerry or Miranda must've! As much as i would like to bang you because you're so beautiful and have an amazing personality, i'm not those guys that hump and dump. I will love you and then we can.... bang.... each other when you're ready and when i'm ready! 

Jennette: That's sweet, but knowing that you want to have sex with me is kinda weird..... but you're speech was sweet.

Nathan's POV

I drop Jennette off at her house then kissed her on the lips before she walked in. Honestly, it was an amazing date! When i get the guts, i'm gonna ask her to be my girlfriend! Just don't know how though.
