The poem is about us. People we see who defied what just everyone was doing. They found a place they wanted to be and made way for themselves. Not just for them, but for those who had dreams which defied our daily lives.
Only by passing through the gritty sandpaper, the diamond gets its brilliance.

Woeful to those who live
Shunning those who walk away
Walk away from the trodden one
To the lands unexplored
With the way full of thorns
Not just fighting wild but
The shadows of the world itself
To the lands unexplored
Where the only guide
Is the beacon which is you
Walk away to the lands
To make way for those
Who dared to follow you
