Later in the day, We went to go see Marcus and niomi. Jim and tanya were also in the car with us. None of them knew yet but we would have to tell them before Zoe got any bigger.
As we walked through the door of Marcus and niomi's, alfie gave Marcus a bro hug. I ran straight into niomi's arms. She gave me a big bear hug and said "I have something I need to tell you, come with me to the kitchen!"
When we got there, niomi said "Marcus proposed yesterday!" I felt so proud of both of them. Niomi then added "he did it because I told him I'm pregnant. It's his baby. He did this a few months ago and had no idea the condom broke." Zoe said "I should probably tell you then, you know how Alfie and I have been married for 4 months and have been trying for a baby for that long, well we are finally expecting one! When Alfie and I tell you and Marcus the news, just act like I didn't already tell you."
Jim and Tanya also had absolutely no idea we were there for any reason other than just to visit Marcus and niomi.
Me: I don't know how to tell them.
Alfie: you want to do it in a creative way, right?
Me: yeah, do you have any ideas?
Alfie: well, you could make it into a skit.
Me: that's an amazing idea. How should I do it?
Alfie: invite one of them to come up to be in the skit with you.
Later in the day:
"Hey guys, come over to the couch. I have to tell you all something. I'll need 2 volunteers out of the four of you." Jim and niomi raised their hands. I whispered what I wanted them to do and they went into their roles. Jim talked to niomi and then I walked in and said "hey guys, I have something to tell you." Jim said "what is it?" And I said (to the audience) "I'm pregnant!", they all came up and congratulated me about this, because they knew how long we'd been trying to have a baby.
Jim and Tanya said "we also have something to tell you guys, we're also pregnant"
