The first thing I noticed was the darkness. There was absolutely no noise or light.

"Damien", I whispered afraid of breaking the pin drop silence. But I received no reply in return.

Suddenly, I felt a hand grab my arm from behind and it pulled me out the car. Outside I could feel the chill, maybe it was the wind or perhaps I was just frozen in fear. I tried to scream, but I heard no voice come out. I realized I was surrounded by some people, whose faces I couldn't make out. Each of them put forward their hands towards me, seven, I counted. Who were these people. They suddenly started moving towards me chanting something loudly, I couldn't make out exactly what it was, but it was terrifying. They however, stopped moving when they were right in front of me and retracted their hands, joining them.

Together they chanted in a loud voice,"Pievienojies mums"

"Pievienojies mums"

"Pievienojies mums"

"Pievienojies mums"

Suddenly, I heard a scream, it kept getting louder and louder. I realized that it was my own. I fell down as my knees felt wobbly. I felt my body shaking, probably from the sobs that broke out from me. Out of nowhere, I felt some water hit my face.

"Athena, wake up! Hey!! Wake up and stop this barbaric screaming", I saw Damien shaking me awake. As he saw I had opened my eyes he moved away from my face. He passed me a bottle and I drank water from it to calm myself down.

"A bad dream?", Damien asked me gently.

"The worst I have ever had", I replied.

"Want to talk about it?", he said.

"No, not really", I said. It was already dusk, it seemed as if we had been driving for a long while now.I looked around seeing we were already parked near a building. It seemed like that was the only building miles away. So this was where we were going to meet the important person who could help me.

After telling me about the disappearance of my grandmother, Damien had kept to himself, not saying another word. After pestering for almost an hour he exasperately told me that we were going to meet someone very important, someone who could help me. What he meant by that was far from my understanding. After that I must have fallen asleep, leading to that terrifying dream. No... I wasn't going to think about it now, I already had too much on my plate.

"So... Let's go see your myterious man",I said and jumped off the car, patting the non-existent dust away.  I followed Damien towards the door. He rang the doorbell twice, before some elderly woman opened it. She looked as if she had just been cooking as her clothes were full of dough powder and she held a spatula in one hand. Her eyes widened as she saw Damien and almost immediately moved forward to wrap her tiny hands around Damien.

"Oh son, its been so long. I am so happy to see you. I thought I would have to die before meeting my favourite grandson", the old lady cried onto his shoulder.

"C'mon Grams, that's way too dramatic. And stop with the silly thoughts about dying so soon okay. Now you are making me emotional." Damien said hugging her tighter.

Woahh.. I never knew Damien had such a soft side to him as well. All I thought was that he was some really rude and obnoxious person. Well, I din't really know him considering that I just met him as of today.

"And who is this beauty?", the old lady finally turned towards me.

"I am Athena Iraklidis, uhh... Ma'am", I said fumbling since I had no idea of what I should call her.

"Mariana Angelo, I am Damien's grandmother dear. Oh c'mon in, I have made your favourite bluberry cookies, Dami"she replied.

She ushered us in her cozy home. It smelled really good in there and much warmer than outside. As I entered I saw, the house looked really comfy, the living room was completely covered in blue, curtains, sofa covers even carpets, all of them were of a rich blue colour. They must really love that colour. A man who seemed like Damien's grandfather entered through the dinning room.
