Should've chosen Hell

(I am not getting any requests and I just got the urge to write this after seeing everything on tik tok and thought this was a good idea. It is Bakudeku. Sorta? It is a angst. They aren't a couple. More of a friendship chapter than couple. This takes place when Deku is 23 and Bakugou is 24.)

//Izuku Midoriya's POV\\

It was Thursday on a regular day of being a hero. I was the number one hero, believe it or not! Kachaan was the second best than it was Todo-kun.  Me and a couple of other pro heroes are at a scene fighting a villain. We haven't exactly figured out their quirk but they have hostages.

Me, Todo-kun, Kachaan, Tsu, Kirishima, Tokoyami and Sero on the scene. We don't know where Uraraka, Kaminari, and Mina are. They were called to the scene as well but no one has seen them. Everyone else was busy with other missions on other parts of the world. Not everyone in class or other classes decided to stay in the sane state.

"Deku! Help us!" I heard civilians yell. They were caught in parts of the building that has fallen. Im pretty sure I know what this villains quirk is now. Anytime we get close to the building the villain is in, we hear eruptions and the ground shakes. You could hear screams. I ran to the civilians and helped them to the safe area to get. Checked up on.

I ran back after hearing they found a way in. Kachaan was the first one in, as he was not wasting any time waiting. As soon as I cought up, we all ran in. Kachaan was already far ahead. That was when we heard it. Kachaan screaming. I ran as fast as I could.

We all reached the villain and saw Kachaan covered in lava. There was rubble on top of him, he was passed out and lava was covering him. We couldn't see him anymore. This villain was strong enough to kill Kachaan. The one person I loved... This villain will pay for everything!

"Midoriya! What is happening to you?" Tsuyu croaked. I looked at my hands and noticed my hands were turning to dust. Everything went black. I opened my eyes once more and saw Kachaan. He was standing in front of me. I saw two button in front of me. They read, 'Hell' and 'Heaven'.

"D-Deku... Please... Just pick Hell... I don't deserve to be in heaven." He spoke softly. I couldn't choose that! "Kachaan... Yeah, you've hurt me a lot. But... I can't do that to you. You mean a lot to me. And... I love you." I smiled. I pressed Heaven and everything went black again.

I woke up just how I was before turning to dust. I saw Tsuyu, Todoroki, Kirishima, Sero, and Tokoyami untying all the hostages. I see Kaminari, Urarka and Mina tied up so I went to untie them. But I couldn't help but think about Kachaan. What was I going to tell everyone?

He died.

//Katsuki Bakugou's POV\\

I can't believe it... Deku just sent me to heaven... I found myself dressed in white and had wings. I fell to my knees. I don't deserve to be in heaven! I was horrible to everyone! I shouldn't haven became a hero! I was so rude!

How... How did Deku ever love someone like... Like me?
