Brian had been talking to the person at the door for quite a while now and it looked like they were arguing over something. Curiosity got the best of me,

"Please can you please put an eye on the kids for a while, I need to go do something real fast, "I told Violet while standing up. I went over to meet up with Brian who looked like he'd beat up the woman if she didn't stop talking,

"Can you just leave, there's no prove that you're even Marrissa's mother, so how should I believe anything you say? " Brian argued holding his fists by his side.

"What's going on?"I asked moving to Brian's side and looking at the woman in front of him.

"Its no problem, she's just leaving, "he replied glaring at her. "If you don't want the police involved you'll leave now. "

"This isn't over, I'll go to court if I have to, "she had an accent, I didn't know which it was tho but she left after she said that. Brian sighed and brushed his hand down his face.

"Whatever,you say. I know good lawyers." She had stormed off angrily.

"What was that all about?,"I asked him worried.

"It's nothing,just some crazy woman,"he replied turning away from him. I felt there was more to all he was telling me,I just hoped he would tell me sometime soon. With that thought still on my mind,I went back to the garden to join the party and watch the twins open up their gifts. I had gotten them different gifts, a Barbie surprise set for both of them, a toy hospital kit for Ava who loved the medical things on television. I got some paints and other kids art supplies for Alexis. My gift looked like the largest on their table,but it wasn't. Bryan got them BMW cars each (obviously it's the one for kids), a pink one for Alexis and a purple one for Ava.

His gifts were supposed to be a surprise for the kids,to be opened after the party had ended. I couldn't wait to see their faces when they got the cars, I googled it last night and the car was a big deal. It needed gas to work and was operated like a normal car, only that it is easier for kids to use.

"Anne,thank you!!!!" Ava shouted while running towards me. "I love you,I'll use this kit to nurse you,daddy and Alexis when you're sick. "She hugged me,it made me laugh.

Most of the children had gone home,those that were left were the twins cousins. Brian had three siblings, Cole's mum(who is dead now), Patricia (who had two kids),and his older brother Matt (3 boys). Matt came with his wife Janice,they were staying over for the night. I had not talked to Matt all day,so he didn't know me.

"Anne can you stay over?" The girls asked me as I lead the way to the garage to show them the car,Brian,Matt,Janice,Patricia,Violet,and all the twins' cousins were walking behind having their different conversations. "Pleeeeaaaasssee," she gave me puppy dog eyes.

"Okay..."

It was the next day, I had a nice night and was making breakfast for the whole family.

"Hi Anne," Janice said walking in with her baby in her arms. "You could've woken someone up to help."

"Nah,it's okay. I do this a lot in this house," I told her while stirring the soup on the oven.

"Who are you exactly to Brian?" She looked at me quizically. "The twins seem so attached to you, and Brian dotes on you. Are you his girlfriend?"

I suddenly choked on my spit and began coughing loudly, while moving away from the food.

"I'm just the babysitter,"I told her after I stopped coughing.

"She's not a babysitter," Bryan walked in casually. He took a cup and poured some milk in it and went back out.

"So...?" Janice asked,she was currently nursing her baby. The baby was sucking loudly on her nipple,making the silence not weird at all.

"I don't know anymore,"I told her putting off the stove. "I'm too busy to think now."

That ended the conversation, I guess she sensed that I didn't want to talk about it. I set the dining table and went to check on the twins. Not long after,everyone was sat on the dining table to have breakfast. Brian said prayers and we all began eating with our silent chatters filling the room. Matt started a conversation with me and I guess we got to know each other.

Brian had gone to drop everyone at their various houses,leaving me Ava and Alexis. We decided to go to the park, I dressed the girls in comfy gowns and I drove them to the park.

"Can we play tag?" Alexis asked me jumping up and down.

"You can baby, I don't mind."

"I mean,can you play with us?" She asked looking as cute as ever. How could you say no to that face.

"Okay baby," I told her getting up from the park bench were I was sat.

"You're it,"Ava shouted as they both ran. I ran after them as slow as I could go.

"I'll catch you," I taunted following them slowly behind. I saw them both running around a play house. Wanting to give them time to run and hide or escape,I waited around the house. I heard whispering and some shuffling sounds,then Alexis ran towards me. She looked devastated,

"She..she..she."

"What baby,is Ava having an attack?"I panicked walking towards the direction she came.

"No...she....someone took her,she tried to take me too but I bit her and ran towards you,"Alexis said and started crying. That's when it clicked in,someone had taken Ava at the park. I ran frantically and moved around the park,looking for a woman or man holding a familiar child.

I looked left,ran there while holding Alexis close to me. I looked right,did the same and turned round and round,till I realized ,

'Alexis was really kidnapped,' I felt nauseated....
