Chapter-18- Oh Damn!

                       Chapter 18

"Reece, it says, probability of paternity is 0%" The doctor said.

"Allen is 99.99%..." The doctor added.

Reece was speechless for a second, his heart fell in his stomach.

Sasha had nothing to say.

"We will believe it when we see it" Reece said in an angered tone.

"Okay, sir calm down, you guys can come collect the paper" The doctor said.

Reece slammed the phone down and went outside.

"What they say?" Benji asked.

"I'm not the father" Reece answered.

"Oh damn!" Benji replied.

Sasha went towards him and rubbed his back. She knew she messed up.

"I want to go see that paper for myself too" Sasha said.

Reece was silent.

He got up and prepared to go to the doctor. When he was leaving out he turned around to Sasha.

"You coming?" Reece asked.

Sasha nodded yes.

They were quiet for the whole journey.

When they arrived, they went right to the receptionist.

"Sasha Harrington and Reece Simmonds" Reece said.

The receptionist called the doctor on the telephone.

The doctor came out with the paper.

Reece and Sasha took a look at it. Sasha was furious, Reece was calm as ever, had nothing to say.

*Suddenly his phone rang *

It was his brother.

"Ye" Reece answered.

"Wahgwaan now bro?" Raymond asked.

Sasha stood there reading the paper and frowning.

"I'm not the father...." Reece answered.

"Oh damn! Bro" Raymond commented.

"So what you gonna do, come back home?" Raymond asked.

"I mean I don't know, I might just do that, and leave her with her family." Reece said.

"Ok me ago tell mom, later" Raymond said.

"Do ya thang " Reece said.

He went up to Sasha.

"I still want you to help me raise my child" Sasha said.

He rubbed her hair and kissed her on the forehead.

"Can't keep you from your family, as soon as the restraining order is up, yuh have to see them" Reece said.

"No! My parents are bound to go to jail" Sasha replied.

"You'll have Allen" He said.

They went back home.

Sasha was crying when she got home.

Benji, John and Reece sat down to talk while she was sleeping.

"So you sure about this?" John said.

"Ye.." Reece said.

"But it seem like you really love her" John said.

Benji was sitting quiet, he was still going through it, the memory of his father death to this day still replayed in his head.

"Yeah, I do love her but...all good things come to an end I guess" Reece said.

*It's been three months now*

The contract was up......

Sasha was getting ready to leave. She wasn't happy, she couldn't believe Reece did her like that, but I guess when you messed up, there's consequences.

They hopped on the bus....they were quiet throughout the journey again.

They finally arrived.

The Harringtons and Allen was there waiting.

When they came off the bus.

Mrs.Harrington and Mr.Harrington rushed towards them with open arms. They hugged her and kissed her but Sasha didn't reciprocate that same energy.

She had to keep cool and stay sane for her baby.

"Thank you for watching her, Reece" Allen said then smiled and waved at him.

Reece raised his middle finger at him.

Sasha went over towards Reece and kissed him on the cheek, they both hugged each other afterwards.

Mr.Harrington honked the car.

"Let's go!" He said.

Reece went back on a bus going back to John's house.

Sasha is seen going into Allen's car, Reece looked out the window and Sasha blowed a kiss to him.

Reece didn't do the same. He was embarrassed, he felt he lost. He turned his head from the window trying to prevent the tears from dropping.
