Hot Chocolate

Chapter 4:

"Great. Let's go."

"Oh, wait!"

"What is it?"

"I almost forgot. I have to let my best friend know. She's waiting on me."

"Oh. Well, if you'd rather not go, then you don't have to."

He is making that sad puppy dog face.

"No! No! I do. I just have to let her know first."

"Okay, great!"

We go past the velvet ropes and I head towards Kara. She sees me and grins a little.

"Okay! Ready to go?"

"Actually, Luke asked me to go get hot chocolate. I'm gonna go with him if it's okay with you."

A little bit of happiness drained from her face.

"Oh, yeah. That's cool."

"Oh, no. You look sad. You know what? I want you to come with us. Come on. Its the least I can do for you."

"No, actually, I realized that I have to some stuff before I go to bed tonight. Just bring me back a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Kay?"

"No problem. I'll see you later. Bye!"

As I quickly head towards Luke, I see that he has a huge smile on his face. Its sooo adorable. I swear. Sometimes I get jealous of his adorableness.

"Hey! Ready to go?"

"Yeah, but when we are there, we have to order Kara a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Okay?"

"Sure. That's no problem."

"Okay, then. I'm ready. Let's go."

~at the cafe for hot chocolate~

"I'll have a tall hot chocolate with a little bit of milk drizzled in there. Thanks."

Ooohhh... Even his orders are cute!

"Um... I'll have a medium hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. Thank you!"

"I never want to lose you, Jewel. You are definitely the most special and amazing and wonderful girl that I have ever met."

"I don't ever want this to end either. I really like you."

I don't know. I really don't want this to end, but I feel like someday it might.
