Adrift in open water,
amid an awful storm.
And yet I feel secure and stable
in your arms, so warm.
For, together, we are living,
whilst apart, we just survive.
Until now, I never knew
what it's like to feel alive.
What is this sensation?
What does it even do?
And why does everything seem to change
when I simply think of you?
