Indigos POV

BEEP....BEEP...BEEP

I groaned and turned my noisy alarm off. I then slowly got out my bed and put on a purple shirt and some black jeans...
yeah I have no fashion sense and I don't give a shit about looking good for the first day of senior year.

Iheaded towards the bathroom once I got done with that I smelled the heavenly scent of my mother's pancakes and ran to to the kitchen

"Hey sweetie!"My mom, Lynn greeted as I sat at the kitchen table to await my food

"Hey mom.."I said while checking my phone for messages...hm none that's odd Callum always greets me with a good morning text

"Do I smell pancakes!"My father boomed as he entered the kitchen

My father is inferno the 1# hero in America

"Yep I gotta cook my kiddos their favorite meal since its Blues first day of high school and indigos first day of senior year!"My mom gushed while flipping pancakes

Yeah I don't know why they thought of these awful names for me and my brother but it's probably because my dad's name is gray

"Ugh you guys are way too loud."My brother blue groaned as he slide into a chair and judging by the dark circles around his eyes he stayed up too late

"Oh blue stop being so grumpy."I teased as he made himself a cup of coffee

"Stop being so optimistic."He mumbled and my dad shook his head

"Well I'm sorry kiddos but I gotta go so I hope you guys enjoy your day."My father said and once we bid our goodbyes he left

We were used to it he was the 1# hero after all the country needed him

"Ya know this is the last time you guys are going to see me.""Blue huffed as my mom gave us our pancakes

"Blue stop being overdramatic you get to see us on the weekends and holidays."Mom scolded

Blue goes to a boarding school since he doesn't want to be a hero but he has my moms power so he needs to learn how to use and control it.

I on the other hand has mix of my moms ability to make things with smoke and my father's ability to manipulate fire. I have a hard time controlling my flames like I can make fireballs, shield and stuff like that but if I make anything really big I tend to lose control and I also make blue flames but I can't hold them for a long time since I only learned how to make them last summer

"You named me blue so I get to as overdramatic as possible!"He shot back and I also choked on my pancakes

"Blue Anderson do not take that tone with me."My mom argued

I checked the clock and decided that I needed to get going so I said goodbye and drove to school which was 15 minutes away

"Helloooooo indigo!" A energetic voice said as I got out my car and I turned around and saw Freddy dashall aka the boy who's had a crush on me since 2nd grade

"Hey Freddy."I sighed not wanting to deal with his bull today

"Hey sweetheart oh just looking at you wants my heart beat faster than I can run!"He flirted

Freddy dashall has superspeed he can run as fast as lightening but has the IQ of a rock

"Well you should go see a doctor."I said before walking away to enter the school

Let's see was my homeroom on the 2nd or 3rd floor? So after searching I found Mrs.Duplis classroom

I looked around and saw that classroom was almost full but I still didn't see Callum which greatly worried me
