(EXO FANFIC) The shadow in the dark II

Neighbourhood Of Bungalow

Soon, she reached home. Keyra stopped her walked infront of the door. She hold the door knob and walked through it.

She doesn't want anyone bothering her right now. She lying on bed, looking at the ceiling. Its empty on there. She played with her finger and her leg start to kick at the air.

      " Keyra .. "

    Keyra turned when someone opened the door. She took a glance at the door and return to her position. A minutes later, someone plopped her body next to her.

     " where are you going ? "

       " I went to RiRi bookshop and she invited me to a dinner " Keyra answers and put her leg down. Her mother nods and sat on the bed. She look at her precious princess that already grown up to be an adult.

     " what's menu of the food ? " she asked, curiously.

      " Fried rice and Avocado smoothies " Keyra then answers. Calmly, Mrs.Kim approaching her daughter and began tapping her daughter's body. It's sometimes reminding Keyra about her childhood.

     Her mother would tapped her body gently before she got to bed and sing the lullaby.

       " are you okay, mom ? "

Keyra then sat up from her lying and slowly stroke her mother's shoulder.

      " I--I'm fine " with a strutting voice, she answers. It's make her more curious about her own mother. This woman usually will hide her problems and wouldn't share it except she asked her in stricter.

       " don't lie.. This is not the first time I know you.. "

  She sighed after knows that she's in trapped.

      " I'm worried about you, honey " she answers.

 
     " about me ? Why ? " anxiously, Keyra asks.

 

     " I'm worried if you go to the palace " she said while looking at her daughter.

Isn't she know that I'm meeting them at the road ?

She isn't... Right ?

       " I told you that I'm going to RiRi house " Keyra said. She doesn't want to answer that questions. The mother will be more worried towards her.

      " yes.. I know but I'm just worried if you went back to the palace. " she told the truth.

Argh.. The palace.

         " I need to sleep more " Keyra tried to avoid the question. Right now, she need to sleep and thinks what will  she do tomorrow.

At morning,

     " Keyra, I got a meeting and I will be late at home. Don't go to the palace again! " Mrs. Kim warns when she seeing her daughter was sitting at the chair, eating the cereals.

       Keyra nods and crossed her finger at the back. Of course, she wouldn't go there but she would go near to the palace.

The bungalows nearby the palace.

She looks at her mother until her shadows disappeared from her sight. Keyra then waits patiently until the sound of the engine of her mother's car completely gone.

Phew.. The monster was gone.

         She released her deep breath and quickly stood up from her sat. She has a mission today and it's need to be done before her mother went back home.

         Keyra then clean up the cereal bowls and went her room back. She settles down her bath, wears the clothes and arranged the equipment that she needs.

       As fast as thunder, she done and quickly take her car and house keys and went out the house. She locked the house, starts the engine of her cars and drove it out from the house.

I need to find if there's any witness about the palace.

      When Keyra arrived at the neighbourhood, she went to the guard's hut at the entrance. With a smile on her face, she slow down the her car and slowly opened the doors. 

     
     " I'm sorry for the bothers. My name is Keyra and I would like to have survey here for my magazine. " told Keyra at the guard hut.

   
        "  your identification card, miss ? " ask the guard.

     Keyra smiles and give her I.C to him. The guards then smiles at her. He then ask his friend to let her in. Once the gate opened, she then drove the car in and bid a goodbye.

Phew! One works done.

       She then parked the car by the roadside and then walked at the bungalow one by one.

     At the first line, she went to a big beige bungalow. With a big determination, she press down the bells and waits for the call.

   
        " yes! May I helped you ? " suddenly the intercom at the outside was buzzing. The owner of the house was asking her the question.

        " I'm sorry for the bothers. My name is Keyra and I would like to ask you some question. "

Tit...

     Suddenly the intercoms was pitch off.

      " hello miss ? Hello ? " she asked again.

And still the house's owner didn't opened up the gate.

       " I think this wouldn't be an easy jobs " she sighed and walked, leaving the first house. Keyra then moved to the next house, with the purple roof.

      She does like the first one. Ring the intercom, greeting them and told about the survey that's she's wanted to make. Fortunately the house owner was a warming and kind person. She even let Keyra entering the house.

      " what's are you searching on by the way ? " in politeness, the woman in her 45, asked.

     " I'm searching about the big palace there. "  she answers. The middle age woman smiles and pours the orange juice  into the cup.

      " isn't it a dangerous place for a woman ? " she asked. I beamed and put my file next to me. Then I thanked her before answering the questions.

       " it's might be. But still, it's was my jobs to survive in this place " Keyra then take a sip. It's a cool refreshing orange juice that's very suitable in this summer. The woman smile and nods.

  " can I know who's  the owner of the palace ? "  she asks. The woman looking at her in a second later she sighed.

      " I'm sorry.. I don't know who was it. I just move in a couple month ago " she answer.

With a small sighed, she nods. She doesn't know about it.

       " but I do know that they're a famous group back then. " she answers again. I nods and write on my notebook.

EXO was a famous group.

Got it.

      " I think I should move. Thank you for the drinks! I'm really appreciate it " Keyra stood up and bows. She need to find out more about them, more about EXO.
