How is tour treating you?"
"I love it so much, it's better than
I ever thought it would be.
I mean I've performed live so many times
but a tour is a whole different feeling."
"Yes, it's the best. I can't wait
until you have your own headlining
tour. That feeling is indescribable."
"So what have you been doing lately?"
"Work for the release of Lover.
I always forget how time consuming
putting out an
album is. Besides that, Ive been
spending most of my time at home with Joe."
"I cannot wait for Lover, oh my god.
And I know, we've both been so busy,
I feel like we've barely had time to talk."
"Same! I was gonna call you later to
catch up but then you texted me. So it
seems like you are getting along with
everyone on tour? You all hang out
like every night!"
"Yeah, they're all great. And thank
god they are or else I don't know
how I would entertain myself.
Actually, I'm actually calling to
kind of tell you something about
someone, and um, me, I guess."
"Uh, okay *laughs*. What's up?"
"So, I obviously didn't mean for this
to happen, but um, Shawn
and I are kinda hooking up."
"Woah, really?"
"Yeah, it just happened one night
and then kinda kept happening.
It's nothing serious but I just wanted
to let you know cause you are the one
who introduced us and I just thought you
should know. I don't know-"
"Jacqueline, slow down, you're freaking me out a little. Why are you so nervous to tell me?"
"Cause you warned me not to get
involved with anyone on tour. I didn't
want you to be disappointed in me."
"That was just advice based off
of what I've heard. I was never forbidding
you from getting involved with someone.
How long had you been waiting to tell me?"
"Um, about two weeks. I didn't
think it would be a actual thing
but then Shawn and I decided to
make it a regular thing."
"So are you guys like friends with benefits?"
"Kind of? I basically jus told him we should
keep doing what we're doing.
I didn't want to label it though,
so we're just kinda doing whatever
we want. No labels, no rules."
"No rules? None at all?"
"Well, one just to not let the media
know about it. We know it could
change everything so we're not telling
anyone. I mean, I think the people
on tour kinda know, but besides that,
only you and Gigi."
"I mean, it makes sense and I don't
know how I didn't see this coming.
You both a freakishly attractive and your too charming for your own good."
"Thank you?"
"I'm happy if you're happy."
"I'm happy with it. Thanks, Tay."
"I'm gonna give you a little advice.
But first, promise you won't be scared to tell me things because of my advice I give you."
"I'm sorry, and yes, I promise. Now what is it?"
"Obviously, still be careful with this
thing you have with Shawn. It sounds
like your trying to keep it casual but
that can be hard when you spend every
day and basically every night with each
other on tour. I just don't want either
of you to break each others hearts. It may
feel like heaven now, but the fall from heaven
hurts like a bitch."
"Yeah, you're right. Thanks again.
You're the best."
"Love you Jacqueline. Talk again soon?"
"Yes soon! Love you and miss you, byyeee."
