Kayleigh's POV
I sat on my bed, staring down at a picture on my lap letting the tears run freely down my cheeks. I slowly traced the faces on the photograph, remembering each person in detail. My little sister's Circus Baby plush is sitting on my dresser next to my younger brother's fredbear plushy, my older brother's large red foxy mask is placed over one of my bed posts, my mother's pearl pendant is currently stung around my neck after the crash and I have my dad's name tag from when he worked at Freddy's on my bedside table. I look up to a loud knock on my front door and quickly stand up, hastily wiping away any stray tears as I smooth out my navy blue uniform and grab my keys, purse and phone, hesitating before picking up dad's badge and slipping it in my pocket before rushing down the stairs and out the door almost knocking over my work mate and best friend Scott with the door in my hurry. I hear a yelp and rolled my eyes mockingly.
"That was a nice hello" I hear him grumble as I giggle, still running and abruptly halting at the front passenger door of his car.
"Hello to you to Scott" I laugh and pull open the door, collapsing onto the seat in a fit of giggles. He hops into the driver seat and we head off to work. We work part time day shifts at Freddy's, doing different jobs but always meeting up before and after work. Scott always drives as he's a year older than me and has a license. I'm still 17 and I still haven't taken the test. I turn my head and glance out the window. I let out a sharp gasp. I swore I just saw Mum..but..that couldn't be true. I'm the only one left. Scott heard this and turned his head slightly to face me.
"Kay? What's wrong?" I heard a hint of worry in his voice as he tried to focus on me and the road at the same time. I let out a sigh and brushed it off, labelling it as a trick of the light seeing as I could no longer see her when I turned back to the glass. I blinked again. This time I could see..suits? I saw the suits of CB and Ballora. There was one that looked like a rotting and mangled version of the Spring Bonnie animatronic, an inky black and blackberry purple Freddy look alike and a purple Version of Micheal, with was that..wires coming out from a hole in his stomach?! In front of them stood a cluster of people I knew all to well. I couldn't help myself, letting out a strangled cry as I tried to keep them within view. Suddenly I heard a voice in my head, smooth but also childish like a cross between the Circus Baby animatronic and Elizabeth.
"You'll be moved to the night shift tonight, without Scott. Micheal will help you survive the nights. You will only work there for 5 nights before being transferred to another Freddy's location. Again Micheal will help you. He will explain what's happening in much more detail tonight..Good Luck Kayleigh ~" and with that, she fell silent as my head spun, the start of a horrid migraine.
"Kayleigh?! Can you hear me Kay?!" Came a worried voice from beside me. Scott. I turned to look at him, he features seemed drawn and tight with worry.
"I'm fine Scott. What happened?" I chimed with a hint of curiosity. He blinked and averted his gaze for a while before speaking.
"I don't really know to be honest with you Kay. Your eyes glossed over and you didn't seem to hear me when I said we were here." He replied, his words clipped and heavy and he opened the door to get out of the car. "Oh and the boss told me you're getting moved to work the night shift" and with that he got out and slammed the door behind him, leaving me in the car. "You're getting moved to work the night shift" I could feel the colour leaving my face. I knew perfectly well what those robots could do after midnight...
