The Broken: Her Walls

You want to make me cringe before I even read the book? Put, "will they be able to break down the walls she's built?", in the synopsis. Please come up with something new, or at least a new phrase or term or it. We get it; it's been used so many times, in books, movies, shows, and therapy. She's built up these walls to keep people out and now she'll need a boy, or a new family to break them down. Just say like "she needs to push out her past to make room for the present" or something.
