Jordan POV
Its been hours since Uncle O'Shea left the house. (Had to search up Ice Cubes real name ^). I've locked all the doors and windows and now in the basement. It 11:59 pm and I'm worried cause I don't know if he brought his gun wit him. Other than that I'm fine, nothing has happened since he left. All my friends left except for Symere and Rakim.
Were all eating gummy bears as we wait for Uncle Ice Cube. The tv's playing quietly in the background as we tall to each other. When Rakim was talking I heard the door knob being messed with. So I grabbed the gun off the table and walked carefully to the door. When I got there I saw my Uncle O'Shea with a gun shot wound. I rushed up the stairs and helped him to the bathroom.

Tyler POV
I was in my room playing Mortal Combat wit Cory until my phone rang. I paused the game and grabbed my phone off the charger. I looked at the caller ID and saw Jordan calling. So I picked up the phone and sat back down.
Tyler: "Hey!" I say as I lay back.
Jordan: "Hey, um... Can you andCory come over? " He says in a soft tone.
Tyler: "You okay Jordan? You sound like somethings wrong." I say tapping Cory and mouth " Jordan ".
Jordan: "Uncle O'Shea got shot fighting Will Smith." He blurted out through the phone.
Tyler: "HE DID WHAT?.... You know what we're coming over now." I say running out the room and down stairs.
Jordan: "Okay, see you soon Ty!" He said calmly.
Tyler: "Ight, see ya when we get there." I say putting on my shoes.
Jordan: "Bye, T." I him whisper through the phone.
Tyler: "Bye Jordan." I say as I hung up the phone.
I sigh as I put my phone in my pocket. Then I looked at Cory to see him waiting by the door with my jacket. I just got up and head to the door, grabbed my jacket from him and we left for Jordan's house.

Once we sat down we all sat in silence. It was awkward and uncomfortable. So I decided to speak up instead of waiting for someone else to.
Tyler: "Why did you get shot? " I say getting straight to the point.
Ice Cube: "Cause my gang and Will's have been enemies for a long time. So tonight me and him were supposed to get everything settled by making an agreement with each other. But it was a skeem to have me killed and have my gang all disoriented. It obviously didn't work because the bullet didn't go pretty deep thanks to my leather jacket." He said laughing a little before groaning in pain.
Symere: "Take it easy, Jordy just finished stitched you up. Might not wanna move to much." He said quietly and calmly.
Cory: "So what are we supposed to do now?" He asked possessively pulling me into his side.
Ice Cube: "We're gon protective everyone we love at all coast. Y'all got that?" He said to us.
Everybody: "Yes sir!" We say in unison .
O'Shea: "Good, so starting tomorrow evening imma teach everyone how to protect themselves. " He said as we nod in unison.
Tyler: "Okay, now dat that's out of the way. Can we go home and sleep cause I'm tired.... Ow, whatcha do that for?" I said as Rocky smaked the back of his head.
Rakim: "Because that's the most dumbest thing to say in a situation like this. " He said causing everyone to laugh.
Tyler: "I ain't dumb like yo retarded azz." I mumbled under my breath .
Rakim: "What was that?" He said.
I just got up and ran, grabbing Cory's arm as we rushed out the house. Rakim high on our tail, I laughed as we run through the rain.

Cordae POV
Michael: "He's causing problems for no reason. Everyone thinks I cheated on him. He even had the guts to..." He ranted but got cut off by Jared.
Jared: "Mikey calm down its not a big deal okay." Jared replied trying to reassure.
I looked away from them smiling at them as i look down the table. I see Symere and a couple others talking to each other. Tyler, Rakim and Jay talking about something as the others interacting with one another. Just like everyday we've been going to school.
I got out my phone took a video of everyone. I posted it on my story on Ig smiling from ear to ear. I captured it "Our usual day at lunch. My family forever. " When I was putting my phone away I felt someone tap my shoulder. I looked up at who tapped me and saw Montero smiling at me. I shyly smiled in return as he sat next to me.
Montero: "Hi, I'm Montero. Your Cordae Dustin right?" He said as he held his hand out.
Cordae: "Y-yes, th-that's me." I stuttered as I shook his hand.
Montero: "We have civics together and I wanted to ask if you wanted to go out wit me this afternoon." He ask me.
I look over at Jay who looked as us. I slightly blushed when he walked over to us and sat me in his lap. I blushed even more when he kissed my neck. So I hid my face in the crock of his neck.
Jay: "Cordae, Whose this?" He ask me not even caring to look at Montero.
Cordae: "This is Montero, he's in my civics class. He wad asking me to hang out after school. I was gonna day yes before the came over." I said but it was muffled.
Jay: "We have something to do with the group today at Uncle Ice Cubes house. So maybe not today babe, you can hang out with your friend another time." He said holding me tightly.
I nodded in response before moving my face away from his neck. I looked at Montero and gave him my phone so i can text him later. He did so and winked at me but mugged Jay when he walked away from the table. I sigh and layed my head on his shoulder.
Jay: "Remember, your mine and nobody else's Cordae." He whimpered seductively in my ear.
Cordae : "Yes papi." I whispered back going to sleep feeling satisfied in his arms.
Before I was completely consumed by sleep I felt a kiss being placed on my lips. I slightly smiled before going into sleep land.
