It's a wrap!

After the empire shoot!

"it's a wrap! Good job guys"
Sanaa yelled.
Everybody cheered and applauded. "See you all at the dinner party tonight!". Everybody made their way out of the studio to their trailers.

In Terrence's trailer

Taraji was walking past Terrence's trailer still in her Empire gown, then stopped in her tracks, she looked at the door then made a turn and knocked on it.

Terrence opened the door shirtless after two knocks...
Taraji stared at his strong chest, Terrence traced her eyes. "Wana come in?" Terrence asked. "I shouldn't!" She said backing away...  She walked away and yelled, "see you at dinner and put some clothes on please!" Terrence smiled looking at her walk away.

At dinner!
There were round tables of 4 chairs each. Every chair with a name on it. They all settled on their reserved chairs. Yazz, Trai, Terrence and Taraji are at one table. Director, writer, Lee Daniels and Danny Strong are at the other table.. and the list goes on and on.

Lee Daniels rose from his chair and click his flute with a spoon to have everybody's attention. "listen, everybody, it was a great journey. We made it this far and I thank everybody who rode with us till today, a special thank you to the crew, Sanaa ... You are a badass director!" They all laughed. He continues "Taraji and Terrence... It was amazing working with you too, your friendship made us look good" Terrence and Taraji looked at each other and held their gaze "Yazz, Trai and wherever Jussie Is right now, thank you guys! To everybody in this room I love and appreciate you. Let's eat and dance, have fun! To the EMPIRE" everybody yelled "to the empire" the waiters and waitresses start serving drinks.

after a while, Yazz and Sarayah performed.
Dinner was served.
"what's going on with you too?"
Yazz asked looking at Terrence then Taraji then back at Terrence. "Boy, what are you talking about?" Taraji asked dumbfounded

"You barely said a word to each other since we arrived here, all you do is look at each other when the other is not looking" they looked at each other "I never looked at him!" Taraji defended, "yeah right!" Yazz laughed... Terrence smirked with a short chuckle.
"Why are you laughing, do you find that funny?" Taraji was getting defensive and pissed off for some reason. "Oh... no!" Terrence said. Taraji declined her plate away from her and scoot her chair out "excuse me" she walked away... "you better fix it. Whatever it is" Trai said... "Now Terry" he continued... Terrence got off the chair and followed where Taraji existed.  He found her outside staring at the New York lights. "May I join you?" He spoke from behind her, "no!" She said quickly between her sobs. Terrence noticed she was crying. "Hey... Did I do something?" He approached her.
Taraji kept calm and wiped her tears off. "Taraji you need to talk...what's wrong?"
She sniffled. "You said you were scared, now I'm scared!" Terrence was a little confused and lift her face to face him... "What did I do?" He asked. "All the talk about losing me, all the stupid talk about you being scared of losing me" she sobbed some more "well congratulations Terry, it got to me, I wasn't scared, I didn't give a shit what happens after this blow-up, I didn't think about you or how I will never see you, it was safe for me like that, you come here with your cry baby attitude and reminded me that I'm about to lose the privilege of been around you...you made me scared" she pushed him away. he held her hands tight and pull her into his body, they kissed. A long nasty kiss. Taraji backed away after a few seconds. "Terry I have a fiancee," she said. "Taraji I have a wife!" He shot back.  reminding her.

They looked into each other's eyes and suddenly non of that mattered anymore

They pressed their lips together and smooched some more.
It became a long-held nasty kiss.

Until they pulled from each other looked at each other and turned their backs on each other without a word and walked away.
Awkwardly again...
