CHAPTER 4 & 5

I first looked around the classroom then the students.did that kid just make fun of my pants. They all started snickering and laughing.what's so funny I thought."you do know I can give you detention right?." I told the boy "what are you now the teacher?!" More laughing do these kids Know what humor is "actually I am a teacher, your new arts teacher." I said with a smirk and crossed my arms around my chest  "you're so not our teacher... You're too young."a girl said "well thank you for pointing that out,yes I am young.". "how old are you?" Another boy said "I'm 24." I responded another hand shot up "where are you from?" "I'm from around here." I responded again "Do you have a boyfriend?" A boy at the back asked "that's a bit personal but no I don't." The boy at the back and his friends snickered and high fives themselves I just rolled my eyes "now it's my turn to ask the questions." I said "your names please?" I asked starting from the front row .

"Roxanne or Roxy!"
"Henry"
"Charlotte!"
"Louis."
"Christopher."
"Alicia"
"Brent"

"Farrah"
"Benny but you can call me daddy!" They all laughed again and I sorta joined in.

      " So there's fourteen of you... Just great." I said. "Actually no there's one more person,Alex he's my boyfriend!" Charlotte said.almost everyone groaned in the classroom. "Would you stop saying that, he's not your boyfriend,you guys just hooked up once get over it!" Louis answered her annoyingly. "Okayyyy!" "Whatever !" And she stormed out "should I go after her or something?" I asked "nope she's just dramatic, she'll be back." Louis answered "ok class since we've introduced ourselves..." "You didn't tell us your name?!" Roxy said "why do I keep forgetting to introduce myself.. it's Uli" "uly with a 'y'?". "no with an 'i'." I responded. "moving on.. is there something your old teacher taught you guys?" "Not really we just copied notes not much art though." Damian answered "are you kidding me you're meant to be doing projects, painting a natural scenery,photographing everything you see, that's true art". I said "woah... That was deep." ."Now that I'm here we'll be doing all of those things.. I assure you" I walked over to a bunch of boxes and art supplies pulled out everything I could find "um.. what are you doing?"   "What's it look like... You guys give me a hand with these would you?"  The boys got up to help with the heavy boxes the girls helped as well. "Now what Ms.Uli?" Alicia asked  I bent down and began opening them up "see art supplies.. you guys take one each." They all took their stuff and stood there   "now what?"  "Start painting obviously.. I wanna see what you all can do.. you're not just in this class for taking notes, you're in this class because you all love the arts.... Now show it to me!!". "Alright Ms uli!" They all set to working on a piece "so... what are we painting exactly?". I looked at each of them and answered "you're ideas."

       
      Meanwhile in another side of town, Alex had just returned home from football training camp, he'd finished from there and was heading home to finish up school so he could get into a good college and finally focus on what he loves, nothing could distract him now his head was in the game,sure he'd go to a few parties,drink, celebrate,hook up with one or two girls that was it he didn't want to be in a relationship,he didn't want anything holding him back and that's exactly why he didn't date,when he was done with everything he'd finally settle down with a nice girl,and probably marry her, he'd thought of everything and nothing was going to stop him from achieving what he planned out.
          He was on the road getting home to his family, after making a few stops he was finally home. He and his family had moved away from the town and decided to stay in the woods beside a river. he parked his somewhat worn out Toyota Camry in the drive thru unloaded it and went in to meet his family.   "What's up Alex!" His older brother Matthew  hugged him tightly then his younger sister came out and jumped on him. "Alex,I missed you!" Lonnie squeezed him more. "We just got off the phone about an hour ago sis!" "It's still not the same." His mother came out and hugged him her strawberry blonde curls whipping him slightly. "we really missed you.". "missed you too.". I said "so where's dad." "Oh he's at the back fixing something" .mom answered "I'll go meet him." I walk to the back of the house and see a dark haired man fixing a motorcycle "hey Dad!" "HEY Alex, come help your old man would ya!." I walk over to him and squat beside him "go to see you back son" "good to be back dad." "Hey hand me that screwdriver will you." I hand it to him "thanks." "So who does this belong to?" I asked "I dunno somebody's been bugging me to repair this junk for years." "Is this really mine?" I asked shocked "yep,give it a start." I hopped on it and started the engine I drove it out of the garage then to he front of the house "nice bike Alex,seems your father finally fixed it up now he won't be waking up every morning just to fix this.". "he did this every morning?" "Yep he wasn't going to stop till it was ready." Max finished. I got off it and hugged my dad then my family "thanks I really appreciate it." "Alright come in " we all went in I went to my bedroom and sat on it staring at the ceiling I sat there for about an hour not moving,then I got my guitar from the corner of the bed and plucked a string I hadn't played for a while,then I plucked another string and began playing it  "haven't heard you play that stuff in months." Matthew said I just nodded "mom wanted me to get you,foods ready."  "I'll be there soon.". He left the room I set the guitar back slowly and got up to go eat . "Finally he's down..can I eat now?" Lonnie asked "Not yet kiddo." Dad responded. I sat down on the chair and looked around my family "can we now?" "Yes you may." My mom said  we all are silently first then Lonnie started talking "so Alex school started today.". "I'm aware." "Ok and I heard we've got a new art teacher I haven't seen her though but rumor has it that she's so pretty!"  "Um... Ok why are you telling me this?"  "Dunno just wanted to inform you.". "ok". We continued eating "do you have a girlfriend yet?" "Nope!" "Why not?,I thought you and Charlotte were a thing.".  "You and Charlotte are together?"matthew asked "no she just assumed we are cuz of our....." I looked at my mom then dad "your what sweety?" Mom asked "I wasn't born yesterday boy" my dad said not looking up from his food ".....yeah that." "Did you lead her on?" My mom asked "no mom I told her specifically that I didn't want to date." I answered "well better get ready for tomorrow you'll be seeing her soon." Lonnie teased "please don't remind me." I said playfully Lonnie and my mom giggled "but seriously son when are you going to start seeing someone?" My dad asked "When I'm done with school and stuff." "Okay" and we continued eating in silence. Matthew and I cleared the dishes and washed them up.i went to bed early so as to get up early .to be honest I was kinda missing school the practice,my buddies that was it I don't think I wanted anything else really.

Thanks for reading,end of chapter 4 & 5 of teachers pet.this one was a bit longer (cuz of the two chapters). I decided to combine two chapters just to make it easier.{I'm saying chapters too much 🤔😅} Anyway moving to the next!!!!!
