chapter 2

Alfreds POV

Right now I'm standing in the kitchen with the younger kid's and helping them make apple pie. Today is Mr Oliver's birthday so we decided to do something for him. He was taken by francois a little while ago to go on a date with him.

I put the pie in the oven and set the timer. I turn around and tell the children to wait for the timer to go off before taking it out. And to an adult for help first.

I walk out of the room to go help with decorations. We are going for a cafe themed birthday party for Mr Oliver. We have a table setup on one side of the room that was holding all the deserts and food. And on the other side we have a small cafe setup for everyone to eat at. The younger kids seem really exited about that.

We all put the presents we made for Mr Oliver in one of the closets close to the family room as we call it.

Mr Oliver is very loved here most of the kid's here were abused or ostracized before coming here. They expected the worst but when they got here Mr Oliver was there with open arm's and a happy home. Mr Oliver has helped so many kids find family. He's helped all of us through so many thing's. When I first got here I was expecting to be ignored or yelled at for not being good enough. But that never happened he took me in and he treats us all as his very own children. He and his husband francois are the closest thing to parents that any of us has ever had. If he sees that one of us is sad or hurting he always makes sure to make us feel happy and loved. We do not deserve him but he still love's every last one of us. Some of us call him mama as an inside joke.

Sure there is matt and allen but there more like crazy uncle's. And francois is the papa of the strange family. Some of us might leave but they will never forget the time they had here the love they shared.

I went over to allen to help him with putting the banner that says 'happy cakey birthday' on it up. When we were finished with everything I heard the timer in the kitchen beep so I went to get the pie out of the oven.

Timeskip to when Oliver and francois get back

Matt got a text from francois that said they were pulling up to the orphanage so we turned off all the lights and hid when the door opened we hurd shuffling and then the light turned on we all jumped out of our hiding places and yelled surprise. He looked startled but happy. The rest of the day was spent eating cake and pie and opening presents.

A great way to spend Saturday afternoon if I do say so myself.

Timeskip to monday

I don't want to go to school today but I have to goddamn it. I roll out of bed and onto the floor for some reason I still want to sleep that usually wakes me up someone opens the door to my room and walks towards. I'm to tired to open my eyes so I don't see who they are until I here Mr Oliver's voice telling me it's time to get up. I peek an eye open and groan in complaint he snickers at me and picks me up bridal style.

He's actually suprisingly strong. He takes me to the bathroom and sets me on the closed toilet seat he go's out of the bathroom and comes back with a change of clothes and the now clean bomber jacket "Get ready" he simply says and leaves to go wake other's up.

I force myself up off of the toilet seat and take a shower.

Timeskip to when he's walking to the bus

While I'm walking to the bus stop I start to think about the switching highschool thing. I was so cought up in my thinking that I didn't realize that someone was in front of me until I bumped into them.

I looked up and started to get the feeling of deja vu it was the same guy from friday I smile and apologized. I see his friend is also there with him.

He raises an eyebrow at me "Is this how you greet people" he says in a humorous tome. I blush and stutter "S-sorry I wasn't watching where I was going" the girlish looks at me and starts giggling this just makes me blush more. 'Why am I blushing?' I think to myself.

After a little while he stops giggling and we all just stand there in awkward silence. I ask "what's your guys name's?" They both look at me with raised brows 'shit did I say something wrong? Goddamn it u just asked there name's u don't even know them. Are they weirded out by me?'

My thoughts were broken by someone saying something "what was that?" I asked

"Ivan braginsky" (I am 90% sure I spelled that wrong😊) "Yao wang, what's ur name?" I slowly start to smile and say " Alfred F Jones at your service"

Yao smiles at me "nice to meet you Alfred" I smile back and just before I can say anything else the bus arrives. "Bye" I say as I get on the bus.

Timeskip to last class of the day again

When I get to class people are talking about something I can't hear I go take my seat and am able to hear one of the conversations "I wonder who won" I was a bit confused about this won what. "I know right I hope it was me I really want to go hetalia highschool" I stopped listening after that I had completely forgotten about that. I wonder who it's gonna be.

The Teacher walks in and everyone goes silent "I can see that your all exited about the results" she says we all watch her as she goes over to her desk and pulls out a bunch of envelopes. "Each of you will get one envelope with your name on it that says your score on the test. The person with the highest score will have a blue check on their paper, that means that you won"

She starts passing out the envelopes some kid's just rip them open as soon as they get them others wait for the teacher to be done passing them out and them open them.

The teacher gets to me and puts the envelope in front of me I put it in my pocket for later. So I can open it with tony and Mr Oliver and all the others.

Another timeskip to the orphanage

I step into the orphanage and head to my room I put my bag down and take the envelope out of my pocket I look around to see if tony was here but he must be downstairs somewhere. I head downstairs to look for him. When I get to the bottom of the stairs I quickly look around to see if he's there but it's only some of the younger kids and allen I see. I go over to him and ask "have you seen tony and can you come with me so we can see what I got" I smiling and holding the envelope for him to see.

He smiles back at me "of course bro and I think he's in the living room with matt and francois" "thant you" we both start heading towards the living room when we get there we see matt tony and francois but no Mr Oliver "Yo guys alfred wants to see what he got on his test score with us" they all look over to us and I get a little nervous.

"Before I show you though do you know where Mr Oliver is" "that's my name what's up" I jump a little not expecting him to be behind me I look at him and smile holding up the envelope "I want to see what I got with you guy's" he smiles at me and walks into the room and sits on the couch waiting for me to do the same. Me and allen go in and sit on the couch opposite him everyone's looking at me intently waiting for me to open it. I slowly open the front part of the envelope and hold my breath I take the paper out of the pocket and open the paper.

My face light's up as I see the light blue check on the paper. I hand it to allen and hug Mr Oliver he smiles at me and tony and the others start to congratulate me. I'm so happy. "Since you won we should celebrate" says francois he gets up and goes to the kitchen a few moment's layer he comes out with a giant cake that says congratulations.

We all ate with everyone and then head to bed.
