Alisa had Kayda's head resting on her lap before falling asleep. She made a fire for them for the night. The night was cloudless to see the bright stars. Alisa closed her eyes and thinks to herself why she is here, yet possible for her to even use magic, but she needed to figure a way to go back home or at least try to survive this weird world.
She opens her eyes and looked at Kayda, she gently placed her hand on the sleeping wyvern girl. She can feel how soft yet tough skin. She looked around 5 or 6ft tall and perhaps around 15 or 16 years old. Alisa gave a soft smile, as the sleeping wyvern girl who moved a little closer. Alisa blushed at the sudden movement but, she doesn't mind about it.
"If I will survive while protecting Kayda from this world, I better get used to the environment and learn more the ways on how I should act upon things. I rather not have enemies in my way," she thought to herself.
"If I can use magic, maybe I should practice doing magic that I have, like what everyone says; "Practice makes perfect." After what seemed like 10 minutes of Alisa carefully getting Kayda off her lap and gently on a leaf pile that Alisa struggled to get the leaves.
She did a few stretches to shake some nerves off, she moved her feet further away from Kayda so she doesn't get caught up in the practice run. Once she was far enough and was still in her sights, she breathes out in relief before she focuses. "Any magic I know from the animes I watched, I wonder if it works in this world," she said to herself. She wasn't 100% sure, but it's better than trying to think of any random names of spells she can come up with.
2 hours have passed and Alisa was still trying out the magic she knows from animes like; Seven Deadly sins, Overlord, One Piece, and so on. But as always, while she did that, she woke up Kayla.
Alisa teleports over to Kayla. "I'm sorry, have I awoken you from your sleep?" she asked. Kayla sleepily nods, "I'm sorry that I did. I was only using some of my magic, well to... let some steam out." Kayla nods upon hearing that. "So where are we off to?" Kayla asked Alisa. "To where ever the wind or stars lead us," Alisa responded, but she didn't think about where tlhey have to go. "Let's get going, I rather not let us stay in the open for very long." Kayda nods.
The two continued walking down the dirt road that was found by Kayda at sunrise. "So Alisa... how long have you been traveling?" the wyvern girl asks. "For me, it has been too long. I can't count how many steps I've walked the lands of the living. To me personally, It feels like I'm becoming what's left of a husk of the so-called Dragonlord. I mean no disrespect but I will just live out the rest of my life, wondering the lands until I can no longer walk. I'm just... tired. I've been alone all this time, no one there by my side. But, now that there is you by my side, at least I will know that my journey wasn't a waste."
As Alisa said that, Kayda stopped walking. Alisa turned her head and looked at Kayda. "How can you say that about yourself?! Sure your not what you think you are now, but!" she came close to Alisa her arms wrapped around the neck, Alisa can hear that Kayda was crying onto her chest. Alisa wrapped her arms around the waist, "Even if you never knew this, there are other dragons and spices out there, wanting the return of the rightful Dragonlord, to reclaim the throne."
