Mm It was very hard to tell if his smile was real and genuine. His smile was as bright as ever but I know he's been at this game for a long time. I honestly don't know if he closes his eyes when he smiles to hide the dead look in his eyes or if he actually just can't keep his eyes open. I finally figured out it was fake because when he saw you his lit up before closing and he started bouncing a little. I can help but think hu so this is what he looks like when he's really happy it's so close to his fake smile but all you have to do is look at his body language.
