"Holy shit!"

Zak stared, giggling enthusiastically like a child in a candy store. He was astonished at how the animatronic was really ALIVE! It was moving right before his eyes, standing with its hands up. He could see every little detail: every rip and tear in the fabric, the roaches and flies that made their home inside of it, and even the little bits of rust. It was incredible to him! He couldn't help but get closer to Rose so he could get a better view.
She made sure the boy kept his distance, though. She didn't want him anywhere near the thing after last night. Springtrap understood that, honestly; She was trying to protect him.

"I know you can speak." Rose swallowed her fear. "Speak..! NOW! Tell me what y-you're doing MOVING!"

'Damn...'

He knew he couldn't speak without being in unbearable pain. But... if he didn't want to get shocked again... he'd have to force at least one word out.
Susie gently patted his back in comfort and motivation to push his lungs past their tightened limit. Jeremy did so too, his party hat now in his hands while nervously standing beside of the rabbit.

He took a shaky breath in, trying to say 'hello.'

. . .

"HEe- heL-" he kept choking and groaning out.

The springs creaked loudly when he kept forcing it. Small, eerie whirring noises of the mechanics inside of him would make anyone have goosebumps. The suit was even heard trying to speak again... the voice box was intertwined inside, along with his flesh and organs that rotted it.
The severe pain of tightened springs stabbing through his lungs made him lean forward to hold onto his chest; then that action made Rose squeak back and grip her weapon even harder, ready to fire.

But... she noticed. She could hear the loud grating of the springs under the tension. The young woman actually lowered her weapon for a moment... looking concerned.
She pushed Zak to stay back and keep alerted. He nodded and took a step further away, all while staring up and the pained Spring-lock beast.

"-McCarthy, you were right! it's really alive!" the blue haired boy continued laughing out, now getting a little too excited rather than scared. "-and look, it's more afraid of you than you are of it!"

"Zak... his spring-locks have tightened..." she was almost guilty when she thought about the pain it caused... but no. he tried to hurt her; he deserved it. "he won't be able to speak."

"no worries, Roseypoo. it doesn't matter anyway right? I mean, I DO want to get a video or two for my friends, though." he shrugged.

this boy was out of his mind.
Springtrap only watched and listened to Rose tap her foot on the ground. what was she supposed to do? He was alive and moving! she can't stand here all day with the tazer pointed at him to keep her young neighbor safe. Yet she couldn't lower it and approach.. this thing was going to kill the two of them.

and what was HE supposed to do? one little move and he'll be electrocuted. He couldn't even turn around to go back into the bathroom.
If he could just... RIP that Tazer away from her... god, he would. But he still needs to be a suck-up to the woman. he needed to follow her orders, make sure she felt safe...
and then could gain her trust for the kill.

BANG!

The booming thunder made poor little Rosey jump, her hand unknowingly flinging the weapon over on the floor. The carpet muffled the thump it made when it fell.

'Finally. A chance.'

He would need to think fast. He'd need to push his limits of his prison that they called a suit. Yet when he saw the sudden blur of Rose's hair trying to head towards it, he needed to block her out of it first.

He forced himself to grab onto McCarthy.

Zak gasped, backing away quickly when he saw it happen. Rose squirmed, yelped and kicked, but his grip turned into a tight embrace from behind. He basically caged her. Susie and Jeremy were yelling at Springtrap to let her go, and that this was NOT going to help him at all, but he didn't care.
Right now, he could kill her! The boy would be next! But something in him knew that it would be stupid to kill her, despite the urge inside of him pleading. He just needed to get his word across of his 'innocence' and 'trustability.'

He glared down at the tazer...
stomping on it.

Sure, he was pissed at her. Sure, the little voice in the back of his head told him that this COULD be the way to escape... but like he said, he needed to wait. Right? The two spirited children that now floated away from him didn't want to see it. They knew what he was considering doing.
Rose wasn't as strong as he was, despite their battle. And from Zak's build, he would be the weakest child he ever had to kill. It was so tempting...-

"LET HER GO!"
Well, he wasn't so relaxed now, was he.

He squeezed onto the woman tighter, looking over to the boy. He had his fists up as he was ready to run over. Rose gave him a glare that made him hesitate, though... she still wanted to keep the boy safe; Even if it were possible that he could save her.
He couldn't.
But maybe the kid didn't need to... this time was perfect! Why was the beast so hesitant? He didn't feel this way last night... why now!? Back and forth his thoughts went on the possibilities, all while fighting a squirming Rose and glancing at a paralyzed boy. Why did Springtrap still want to procrastinate on the kill? Why DID he need to gain trust?

...He didn't.
But he wanted to.
he didn't.

But he wanted to.

He loosened his grip just enough to forcibly turn her around, facing her. Tears had unknowingly fallen down her face. No wonder, she probably thought she was going to die.
The monster pulled her against his torn open chest, mimicking a hug.
A hug that silenced not only her, but the small part of his insanity that still reigned a part of his mind. The conflict was muted. He made a low hum that sounded of relief, or perhaps apart of his jagged breathing.

He would wait, he told himself. He would wait until he gained trust.
Then he would kill her.
