Chapter 9: Richter and Awaken

Meanwhile, at the lake, Richter stood and watching the full moon. "We will soon meet again."

"Now. You must awaken now..."

Yui moved back to her room and slept with you after she found out that Ayato carried her out of the room while she was sleeping.

"Cordelia."

Yui opened her eyes and started becoming panicky as she didn't see you but later sighed in relief because she returned with her uniform on. "What happened, Yui?! Why are you calling me?!"

"No, no, no! I just didn't find you in bed that's all." Yui then felt her heart thudding again.

"What's happened, Yui? Is your chest hurting again?" You said. 

"My chest hurt again." Your head then became ached too as Yui also noticed your state. "And your head is hurting too, right?"

You nodded in response. "What's wrong with us? Should we ask someone about this? We can't figure this out on ourselves."

"Someone who can tell us..." Yui said before she said a name that chilled your spine. "Is Shu will be our answer?"

"No, not that one!" You quickly said, making Yui jump. 

"Why are you acting like that when I tell his name?" 

This question made you blush a little, but then you replied to her. "I'm just scared of him."

"It's okay if you don't want to talk with him, I don't want to force you." Yui said with concern. But you shook your head with your hand because he was very dangerous and you didn't want him to do anything to Yui.

"Nope, for my and your sakes, I'll talk to him. And you go take a shower and we'll meet in front of the mansion, okay?" Yui nodded in response.

After you asked everyone where Shu was, all of the brothers were very furious about it, even Subaru punched the wall hard after you asked him and left. You walked out of the mansion and went to the building where Shu was.

You stood in front of it as you let out a sigh, you heard a sound of chirping inside, then the bats flying around you. You tried to flick it away with your hand, "Get away from me!"

"Oh, be quiet." a familiar voice said, making the bats fly away from you. You looked at it with your heart became beating rapidly in fear again. You peeked around before you slowly entered.

"Excuse me... Is that you, Shu?" You saw Shu sitting at the end, he was reading the book and still had those earbuds on his ears.

"Do you want something... or you just want me, shortie?" Shu said as he looked up at you, your face blushing at his words. 

"Not like that! I'm sorry that I disturb your precious silence about that. But I wanna ask you something and it's very important!"

Shu stayed silent and looked back at the book, meaning that he was listening. "Something has been wrong with me and Yui recently. We can hear the voice of a woman who isn't there and we both feel unsteady." You looked down before adding. "Yui just doesn't feel like herself and I started to feel like I can't control myself anymore."

"Really?" He replied as his blue eyes looked at you. "All right, come here."

"What...?" You looked up, Shu dropped his book before he pulled you and pinned you down to the floor. Your eyes widened as he placed his hand on your face and moved your hair away.
