When the first Quirk appeared in China's Qingqing City people didn't know what to think. A glowing baby wasn't something you saw everyday and up until this point there'd never been something so extraordinary.
Then more of these extraordinary people began to appear. Kids who could shoot water from their hands and those who could heal people without even touching them. People viewed it as a miracle. These children had a gift they could share with the world. They appeared randomly all over the globe and the older they got, the more they were able to expand their reach and help those in need.
But with good there is evil.
Some of these powers, now dubbed 'Quirks' were used for evil instead of good. To harm others instead of help.
And thus began the age of Pro-heroes and Villains.
And as time passed, Quirks expanded and soon 80% of the population had a Quirk whether it be big or small. Pro-heroes still live on to protect those in need and villains lurk in the shadows, waiting to strike.
The world will always need Pro-heroes, from now until the end of time. So, to train new up and coming Pro-heroes, people built schools to guide those wanting to master their quirks and help and protect the world. Hundreds of schools were established across the globe to prepare teenagers with Quirks for their duties in heroism.
Kage Quartz never planned on being a hero in training. With his Quirk he knew it wasn't going to happen. But after a robbery gone wrong he's thrown into U.A. and learning to be a hero. But with the League of Villains right around the corner, Kage's major daddy issues, and that cute angry blonde boy he has a crush on, he knows he won't make it to see his second year.
