No I didn't love her I just didn't want to see Elena upset after all that would mean stefan would get broody and a broody stefan mean time for me to go to a sorority party. She looked ate curiously and said,"Damon why did you lie to me? Why did you compel me to forget you and everyone else that you talked about like lexi, stefan, elena, Katherine and of course your mother! I would have helped you!"

"I couldn't I'm a monster and you know that now so why would I want you to remember me after all I could if ended up killing you!!" I replied.

"Damon I couldn't care less about the fact you could have killed me, I've been eating vervain since I was 7 and then majority of my perfume has some vervain in it just to be safe" she countered.

"Wait...how do you know about vervain and it's properties? How come you didn't burn in the light like most vampires with out a charmed lapis lazuli ring and you have to be a witch to charm one of them and you haven't talked to bonnie since before the crash...." I was cut off by her soft warm lips crashing against mine halting any thoughts I had about hr and the sunlight, she slowly drew back as said,"I'm a witch Damon I spelled my own ring and no the spirits didn't take my powers away coz they knew I would have to deal with you and survive, we are soul mates after all!!"

And that is how I and Caralina my beautiful princess of darkness ended up together.
