Pt.18 Road Trip

Me and my sisters were preparing to go on a road to trip Georgia and I didn't understand why we just couldn't fly. So I was slightly mad I had to be stuck in the car with them and hear city girls on repeat.

But luckily I got Quan to tag along so I wouldn't be surrounded by girls all weekend. I was gone pick him up after school and we would be on the road.

The bell rung and I made my way to my next class spotting Sierra and the two girls my Uncle hired and wondered what they could've been taking about but I didn't ask.

In class I sat by Tyreke and he was looking irritated so I asked what's wrong.

"Shit boutta hit the fan son" he said sliding his hands down his face

"What you mean?" I said questioning him

Before he answered he looked around and said "Word on the street somebody out trying to take over Tony's territory his whole empire basically and he's pissed  it's supposedly somebody close to him"

"Ok that happens all time in this business what's so special about Tony's situation" I said wondering that the big deal was

"Not only is the person trying take over Tony's shit they trynna take over all of New York I'm talking every corner boy,every gang, all of it under his control and apparently he got the right connects to be able to do it" he said looking irritated

"Deadass" I said wondering what was gone happen to New York

"Yea don't nobody know who he is they just know his plan coming together and he slowly knocking people off" he said messing with his spade tattoo

Fuck I thought to myself I wasn't sure if it was my Uncle doing all this or somebody else but I had to let him know immediately. I mean if he was planning to do something this big I figured he would've told me.

After School

"Hurry up in get yo ass in the car before I leave you" I yelled out my window cause Quan was taking forever to come one

I shook my head at the fact he was bringing 2 stuffed suitcases and 4 bags with him. He act like he moving in with me or some shit.

I helped him but all the bags in the trunk. There was no room for my sisters stuff and ain't no telling how much crap they bringing.

We drove off to my sisters house but stopped at Wendy's first cause I wanted a frosty.

Pulling in the drive thru I asked Quan if he wanted something and his eyes lit up.

"You care about my well being" he said wiping fake tears

"Let me get a #4 combo large and a 20 piece chicken nugget" he said dancing cuz he was about to eat

I shook my head and went on the way to my sisters house after paying.

2 hours later..

We've been on the road for about and hour and some change and I'm tired of hearing break up songs.

My sister Thea been all up in her feelings about some dude. I asked if I could light him up but she said no she got it. That's not gone stop me if I see him at his house accidentally though.

That one Jhené Aiko song came on for about the 3rd time and she cut up again shouting the words.

"I should've never let you in" Thea said pointing her fingers at the road like ole dude was there

Quan was knocked out with his mouth wide open so I decided to mess with him for some fun. I took some ketchup I fount in the glove compartment and went to squeeze it into his mouth until the car swerved and stop causing me to hit my head.
