The Simple Life

life as a king is filled with stresses

i spent my days fixing royal messes

so let mw kiss that world goodbye

and give this simple life a try

don't need this hands in every matter

i only want to mix this batter

but we don't know a thing about dough

is icky sticky goop the way to go?

i know my life will be breezy here

free from the stress and strife

i'm sure our days will be breezy here

lets all get off the royal fast track

a baker's life is much more laid back

but here in town we still got stress

and not a tiara or fancy dress

i know my life will be easy here

just me ad the kids and wife

give it a try and you'll see it's fun

baking a croissant or a cinnamon bun

but look out it's rising up and up

just pat it down with a measuring cup

i just need time to practice cooking

and make the pastries,better looking

i hope you're right i really do

cause what i'm eating tastes like ew! glue
