MARIA
after how many months on the same year. i received a message from Luke, telling me about his family trip to my country. no feelings at all, i just replied as a casual response to a friend."glad to hear from you! that would be great. hope you'll enjoy here."
i received a quick reply from Luke.
"i will be glad if we could meet up."
i read the message and my eyes widen and i felt the feeling of excitement. i would love too!! why not, it will be our chance to meet up.
"let's see! i would love too. let me know if you're here."
Luke replied to me telling me that the trip will be with his family. I didn't reply anymore. I treated him as a good friend of mine. a virtual friend — where a friend I could never meet in person, a friend online. in that way, no attachments, no one will get hurt and no one will have expectations to each other.
