Prosopagnosia | Taekook

1.

"Kim Taehyung get out of your bed we have school today!" His brother yelled.

The boy whined and slowly got out of bed. He picked out his clothes, and put them on. He walked down the stairs. His brother was sitting there already, he could tell it was his brother by looking at his clothes.

"Hey lil bro!" My brother said as he swung his arms around me. "Hi" I said being annoyed.

"Tae" My brother said with a dramatic voice and turned to face me.

"Jackson" I said while sighing dramaticly.

"If someone bullies you, you can call me okay? Especially if they hit you" He said on a more serious tone.

"Yeah, yeah" I sighed. My brother pulls me into a hug. "I love you lil bro"

"I love you too"

~At school~

I walked inside the school and already heard whispers.

"I heard he can't see faces, and that his ex made fun of it" One person whispered.

"What a freak" The other whispered back.

I felt tears welling up at the thought of how i got prosopagnosia.

~10 years ago~
Taehyung was 7.

I was playing with another boy at the playground, my mother said that she would be right back.

After a while i decided to search for my mother, and i found a man and a little boy. They were holding knives, and as i looked down, i found my mother... Dead.

I immediately ran towards the lifeless body of my mother. I shaked her to try and get her to live again. Tears were everywhere, the man who was dragging the boy came closer and as they came closer with the knives in their hands.

Until they heard police sirens, and they immediately ran away, before they got away man said: "You didn't see our faces"  and that's where the faces started to blur away. I was traumatised since that moment.

~Back to present~

"Tae! Tae!" Jimin shook my shoulders, and i snapped back into reality. "H-huh?" I was crying my eyes out in front of everyone.

"Come, let's get you out of here" Hoseok said, and led me to a bathroom. I washed my face with some water. "Did you see that memory again?" Hoseok asked with a soft tone.

"Y-yeah" I replied while looking down at my trembling hands. "It'll be okay Tae, they'll find a cure so you can see us"

"I h-hope so" I was shaking from that memory.
