The thoughts of that night we spent together always popped in my mind and also when he saved me. Who am I to him? He can hire an assistant literally in a snap. He didn't ask me a single time to pay him back the money, not even a single time. That is what I kept thinking about throughout the past weeks but I didn't dare to confess or ask him about anything but I had made my mind to quit this job.

-Sunday, 6:00 P.M.-

I had this urge to end the way I fell as fast as I could. Calling Jungkook and tell him that I wanna leave was all I could do. I dialed to his number and as I heard the bell ringing, my heart beat grew faster. After a few bells he picked up. "Hello." He spoke through the call, calmly. I gulped before I spoke "hello J-jungkook-" he cut me off as he replied "yes, Y/n?" He said. "I wanted to talk." I said before I took a deep breath. "Yes, I'm listening." He said, making me more nervous as I heard his voice. "I want to quit." I spoke in a row before running out of breath again. "What?" He asked in confusion as I replied with a "Y-yes." As my voice stuttered each time I spoke, feeling hot and sweaty in my air-conditioned room. "May I ask why?" Jungkook asked. "Um.. I-" he cut me off as he spoke "let's talk about this tomorrow, okay" he asked. "Noo! I want to quit this job right now." I replied right after he completed. "Y/n, let's talk about this tomorrow. Meet me in the office." He said as he ended the call as I let out a huge sigh. Now what should I do? I asked to myself.

I felt so burdened at this moment. I was stucked. I didn't have guts to face Jungkook but I wanted to end this as soon as I could.

-Next morning, 7:00 A.M.-

I woke up as my phone's alarm rang right in my ear. I rubbed my yes and I sat down on the bed. Last night I couldn't sleep, thinking about the same thing for over hours and hours. I got up from the bed, getting ready to head the to office. I was finally ready as I grabbed the key of my car, locking the door behind as I rushed to the parking lot. I pulled my car in the parking lot as I finally reached, entering the building, taking elevator to his office and as I did, I rung the bell right infront of Jungkook's office as shiver passed right through my body Jungkook said "come in" I took a deep breath before I entered in.

Jungkook glared at me as I entered in. "Morning, boss." I bowed as he nodded, saying "Have a seat." as he pointed towards the chair placed right infront of his desk as I made my way to his opposite seat. I placed my hands on my laps in nervousness. "Have some water first." He could notice how uneasy I felt as he pointed to the glass of water kept in front of him. "No, I'm fine." I said as I sighed. "Okay so now tell me." He said with a face of no expressions. I gulped as I parted my lips "I want to quit this job." I said as I sighed. " Why?" he asked as my eyes wandered around looking for an excuse but I couldn't. "Tell me, why?" Jungkook repeated. I took the glass of water as I took a sip, as the water flowed down my throat, making me feel a bit better but I was still at loss of words while he just glared at me while I did that.

Jungkook sighed "Y/n, Are you okay?" I nodded in response. "You can tell me if anything's bothering you." He gave me an assuring look as I looked at him. I loved this man right in front of me, he made all this so hard for me while he was unaware of what was in my mind throughout this whole time. His soft assuring voice made me more nervous each time he spoke. I knew I was not going anywhere. I knew I was not the only one who fell for him. Him being this perfect, there was no way he didn't have a girlfriend moreover, he'd never choose me to be one- "Y/n, I need an answer." my thought interrupted as he spoke. "I-i Just want to quit this job." "But why!" He rose his voice, leaving me startled. "Y/n, you're not going anywhere until giving me a valid reason and I'd make sure you don't escape this time." flashback from last time hit my head as he said that. "You can ease up. Let's talk like friends. You don't have to be formal if that makes you feel any better." He said, calmly. 

"Jungkook... Please let me go..-" A tear rolled down my eye as I said that as  honestly I myself had no idea why that happened as Jungkook glared at me. He passed the tissue holder box, pushing it to my side. He went over to door, locking it as I glared at him as I gulped. Jungkook held to the back of my chair as he pushed it to the couch's side as the wheeled chair rolled over to the couch. He made his way to the couch as he pushed my chair closer leaving our legs inches away as he glared in my eyes waiting for a response while I looked down at my lap, not looking at him. I took a deep breath before I spoke "Jungkook.." He continued glaring at me as I spoke "You can hire anyone.. it's not hard for you to do that, right? there are more deserving people out there. Please let me-" I gave him a begging look as he sighed before he placed his left arm on my shoulder. "Is that the reason why you want to quit, Y/n?" He asked, still playing calm while my face's expression went to blank. 

"Do you think you're not deserving enough for this?" He asked as he furrowed his brows, trying to know the reason while I stayed quite, his hand still resting on my shoulder, as he lightly patted my shoulder. He sighed as he looked down, completely giving up on me as I spoke "please-" I pleaded with my expressionless face as I looked to the another side of the room.
