rin x izumo

the mission

Rin's p.o.v:
It was a frigid day with an autumn breeze blowing gently. The trees are colored as flames with varying colors of red, yellow and orange along with the occasional green or brown leaves. My friends and my brother were going on a mission to a mansion for we got reports of demonic activity happening. The ride there was a 1 hour drive we all had to be in a small bus just big enough for us all to fitt in. When we got there yukio being the teacher and an actual exorcist  gave us groups to be in by randomly saying a name. First he said Bon and Shieme, Shima and Konekomaru and then me and Izumo, he said he would just wait there for us in front of the old and sun burnt looking mansion. When he finished the groups he handed out a pice of paper to each group saying wat floors they were to search on me and Izumo were assigned the 3rd floor and the attic. After about searching each room for about 1 hour we finaly got to the attic hatch which was a standard folding ladder. When I pulled the ladder down it released a loud and rustic screech as the old joints were clearly not used for awhile. Izumo and I got up into the attic and we heard a faint sound of crying from in the room. We searched and after a good 10 minute search we finally pin pointed the sound and it was coming from, it was a small wooden crate that was opened with baby in it the baby had a tail that was covered with purple fur it had blue eyes and it's hair was purple it's ears were pointed and elf like. The chiled looked like a combination of me an Izumo. I picked it up and shown it to Izumo because she asked what I found. When she saw it she said "we shuld head back" and we started our trip back. Somewhere between the attic and  the first floor Izumo ended up with the baby and grabed some fabric on the way out and wraped the baby up in a cacoon of cloth. When we got back to yukio we quickly noticed the others and the confused looks on their faces. After wich we went back to the bus and Izumo sat next to me with the baby in her hands. It wasn't long till Bon asked why Izumo is carrying a baby. But I didn't give here time to answer, "were taking care of the child" I replied while putting my arm around Izumo as she slightly blushed from embarrassment. Bon then said in a very sarcastic tone "right, allow the least responsible person to take care of a child, no less a baby". Izumo retaliated with "actually he is a lot more reasonable than you give him credit for, becuse he always helps me take care of my little cousin when her parents leave her with me so they can go out on dates".
