Complicated - Min Yoongi

CHAPTER [01]

- *. ..* * .*~*..* ~. *...**~..* -

Transferring to a new school sucks, since that meant leaving my friends behind. But I guess on the bright side I could make new friends, maybe better ones too. I just hope nothing bad happens, since this school is full of rich snobby like kids. I take a deep breath getting out of the car, quickly thanking my driver as I shut the door.

I glance around getting confused by the second as I stare at the huge campus, yes campus. The weird thing about my new school was it was right next to a University, so of course they were going to share school grounds, which meant having a huge ass campus. I heard this high school did some sort of partnership with the University.

So roughly around 60% of the students attend the University right after they graduate. Even though this highschool was full of rich and smart kids, the acceptance rate of this particular University was 20%. Not saying the partnership sucks since this University is currently ranked number 2 on the top 10. 

I just hope I can pass the entrance exam when I apply.

I mumble the word fuck under my breath seeing I only had 10 minutes before class starts. Great.

I begin to walk forward until someone bumped into me a bit harshly, hearing them murmur a sorry.

I turned around to see a girl wearing a loose white button down shirt with black jeans, seeing she dropped her glasses probably when she ran into me. Being nice I quickly bent down to pick it up for her, handing it to her.

"Thank you and again I'm so sorry I was being such a klutz that I didn't see where I was going." she says wearing her glasses. "Hopefully I didn't hurt you.."

"You're welcome, no no don't worry I'm fine. Just be careful next time." I say giving her a smile, seeing her return a shy one.

"By the way I'm new to Seoul's Golden Highschool.. Do you by any chance attend this highschool?" I ask.

"Oh newbie huh? Welcome to the chaotic campus" she says giggling a bit. "I graduated 1 year ago from SGH and I'm currently attending SLUS, but I don't mind taking you there.. Least I could do"

SLUS? That sounds familiar...

"Oh so you're 19?" I ask, making her nod. "And yes please, if you could show me where it is I'd appreciate it.. I heard of SLUS but could you remind me what it is again?"

"Follow me, we can walk and talk on our way there" she says walking the opposite way from where I was going to go before.

I quickly follow her walking besides her.

"SLUS is short for Silver Leaf University of Seoul which is the opposite path of where we're walking. And I'm guessing you're a freshman since you said you were new here?" She asks looking at me.

I shake my head and giggle softly as I see a funny facial expression appear on her face.

"I'm a senior.. My parents decided to move which sucks since it was my last year.." I mumble glancing up at her seeing her give me a sad smile. "I'm over it though, and oh? No wonder it seemed familiar to me.. Wow you must be smart to have been accepted."

"I'm sorry they decided to move.. But don't worry I'm sure you'll be fine!" She says lightly nuding me in a playful way. "Aish I'm not that smart stop it, I'm sure you're as smart as me, watch you get accepted to SLUS too!"

"It is what it is.. Heh hopefully.. I know SLUS is ranked 2nd so I hope I make it through.." I say.

We continued to talk as we walked towards the main entrance of SGH. I found out her name was Aliana and that she was majoring in music and photography. We also exchanged numbers, she told me to contact her if I ever needed help or anything. She was telling me about some of the kids on campus for both schools, when I see a tall blonde headed male walking towards us. 

I should mention he had a smirk on his face, as he started directly at Aliana.

Classmate? Maybe her boyfriend? Wait no she has an unpleasant look on her face.

"Stay beside me at all times." She mumbles as the male approaches us.

"Aliana baby~" He says in a deep voice.

He gives her a smile seeing deep dimples appear on the side of cheeks.

"Don't baby me Namjoon, what do you want? I'm a bit busy" She says in a harsh tone.

He glances over at me and smirks.

The fuck.

I give him a look of disgust, earning an amused laugh out of him.

"Don't worry kiddo, I'm not into highschoolers" He says chuckling. "I just want to talk to you babygirl"

What a creep, no wonder Aliana spoke harshly to him.

"Who said she was even OR ever interested in YOU, you pig." She says making him smirk even more. "I don't want to talk so if you'll excuse us we have somewhere to be."

I stan a protective queen.

She grabs my arm and pulls me away from him. I feel her halt making me glance back to see Namjoon having his arm around her waist, stopping her from moving.

"I said I want to talk to you Aliana." He firmly says, seeing her look harden. "Plus this kid can walk towards the main entrance herself. Now kiddo if you'll excuse US"

"Namjoon! Let me go!" She yells, seeing him drag her away, while she's struggling to be free.

What do I do? 

Do I help her?? 

Fuck.

I hear her sigh loudly out of frustration.

"Just keep going straight then turn to your left and the main entrance is there! I'll text you, sorry!" She yells, seeing her give me the pouty lips.

I gave her a slight smile, as I also felt bad for not helping her.. 

But then again I don't know the history between the two to tell him to fuck off.

I'll ask her about him later, for now let's pray I won't lose my way to the entrance.

I have a feeling it's going to be a long yet interesting day.
