Chapter one

Reader's point of view.

BEEP BEEP BEEP , an alarm went off. You slammed your hand into the alarm clock shutting it off. "Mmmmhhhhhh" you groaned and rolled over. The clock read '6:00am'. your face instantly brightened up when you remembered. "Today is the day I start my new job!"

You sprang out of bed and went straight to the bathroom, took a quick shower and got dressed. Your outfit consisted of a black mini skirt, long socks, a pink fuzzy leapord print long sleeve shirt, and your favorite, dangely cat earnings. They were a sleepy gray cat with a little double sided curl sticking up at the top of its head.

Your grandma had given them to you when you were just a little girl. You looks in the mirror and smiled. Your (hair length) (hair color) hair looked perfect. It was brushed thoroughly. You pushed your bangs behind you ear to look at your earrings. ((Sorry if you don't have bangs)) Today was going to be perfect.

*time skip*

You parked you car in the parking lot of the animal shelter. 'No turning back' you thought and got out of the car. You were just about to open the door as it was pushed open. You lost your footing and fell backwards. Right when you were about to hit the ground, a warm hand met yours and pulled you up. It was a man in about his mid-twenties. He had medium length brown hair, green eyes, and an olive skin tone to top it all off. You had to admit, he was hot.

"Sorry." He said quietly.

Your face got really red "T-that's okay. Thanks for catching me." The mysterious man nodded. His eyes made their way to your ears. Still holding your hand, he took a step closer and brushed your bangs behind your ear with his free hand. He cupped your earring with his hand.

"Your earrings are beautiful." He whispered into your ear. Then he let go of your hand and walked away. You looked back at him while he was walking away.

'What a nice guy.' You thought.
