Alyssa's POV

I woke up to Drew's loud ass music. I thought I liked Uzi vert but now it's just getting absurd. Drew just came back from school for the summer. My father has work almost every day so I have to be here with this monster. I went downstairs and saw drew in the kitchen burning eggs on the stove. I made my coffee and turned the music down.

"You know dad's gonna be pissed at you for burning his pan."

"They're better burnt he'll understand."

"Mom would freak."

"Well she isn't here is she."

"Ok you're grumpy."

"Alyssa let me eat my eggs."

"Ok go ahead eat your burnt eggs Squid ward."

3 years ago my mom died. I wasn't an accident or a murder. She killed her self. She overdosed. She claimed she loved us everyday and I still know she does. But a week before she died she left us and told us she would have a new family because she believed our father didn't lover her anymore. Next 3 days we found out she overdosed on promethazine and she left us a note saying it was our fault she killed herself and that we brain damaged her. We all went through it but drew was angry. I mean beyond angry with my mother and hated when people brung her up. He says she doesn't deserve to be alive after what she did to us just because our father had other stuff to do with his life. For a long amount of time I was too. I went to her grave and punched it until my knuckles bled. It was a lot to deal with but I still love my mother even tho I know she will be looking up at us even from the hell she's in.

This made drew not trust anyone he doesn't even date girls because he feels they will do to him what my mother did to my father. He doesn't even want me dating anyone because he feels I've gotten hurt enough and whoever hurts me again he'll kill just so they can go to see my mother in hell.

Overall my father is kinda rich. He's an NBA drafter so he's always at sports events or in his office working. My brother knows he'll be drafted but my father reminds him everyday that he's like every other player that is wanting to be drafted and he has to work hard for what he wants and it's not just going to be given to him because his father can hand it to him.

But deep down I know drew will prove himself worthy and become a NBA player any day now so I basically have a pre NBA player brother.

"Well have you talked to dad about your test grade yet."

"Does it really matter about me failing a biology test. I want to be in the NBA not the black Bill nye."

"You've had good grades the whole semester what's going on."

"Chill I had one night of fun and I forgot to study for it no big deal I'm fine."

"Was she nice."

"What?"

"The girl you hooked up with instead of studying. Was it worth the f ."

"What you wanna fuck her? OI thought you were still caught up on lover boy."

"One Sonny has a girlfriend and Two I'm not interested in girls. I just wanna know when you're gonna settle on one and stop bring wanna be Kyle Jenner's here at 12 and kicking them out after wards. Watching half naked girls run out the house is not what I want to see while I'm trying to enjoy my breakfast."

"I never knew coffee and a protein bar was breakfast."

"I never knew burnt eggs could be considered edible."
