There will be two separate scenarios for this, but I’ll go first with the /student/.
—student.
(i) Doormat, that’s what most people view you as. Thanks to your brains, everyone would often dump their school works at your locker, asking you to do crap and such. (love interest) was one of those people bribing you to do their homeworks.
(ii) Exams are coming, and you needed to study in order to make it to the top tens otherwise... Well, you’re pretty much grounded. At the library, (love interest) spotted you, cramming over a couple of books. They offered you help to study since they’re struggling with a few subjects as well.
