Dear Journal,
The last week has been quite an adventure. I've made a few friends but not too many. I now know why everyone was staring at me weird that first day when I said what house I moved into. Apparently, this house was built on land that seemed to be "cursed" by the previous owner who died in a house fire. It is said that every house that has been built on this land has burnt down in fatal flames. Pretty freaky right? Who knew San Francisco could be so spooky.
Anyways, I've been noticing this one girl who always sits alone at lunch. She's a sophomore, I think, and she never talks to anyone. I have a couple classes with her and she seems to be really smart. I always see her drawing in her journal when taking notes. Her drawings are actually pretty cool. She's really talented. If I remember correctly, her name is Stephanie but she likes to be called Steph. I think on Monday I'll try talking to her to see what's up.
Love,
Lonnie.
Sorry for this being such a short entry but I will be posting more entries throughout the week and hopefully will finish soon. It is a complete story I just like to publish in time.
