In St. Francis Hospital the patients there are almost as obscure as its location. I mean it's almost 5 miles from any civilization, and the only patients we get are hitchhikers, stoners/drunkards, and sociopaths. Everyone and everything is the same, but I can't dwell on that for too long, because I have to clock in, in 2 minutes. Finally, it's 10 o'clock pm and the night shift can truly begin. I put on my uniform and get to work, it's mostly normal for the beginning of the shift, but something feels...odd, like someone, something, shouldn't be here. The night seems to get weirder when a young woman walks through the doors
Something was off about her the second she entered the building, she seemed paranoid and irritable. The receptionist asked if she was alright, but she did not respond, so I stood in her way and asked her what her name is and what the issue is. Gave me a scared look and said that her name was Alexandria Rodriguez when I asked again what the issue was she just looked nervously out one of the big windows in the front of the hospital and said "he's after me". I was getting fed up with her not giving me straight forward answers so I looked out the window myself, but what I saw out there wasn't human, not even close. The figure outside was standing under a bright street light, but it was completely black, except for its blood-red eyes. Its arms and legs were unproportionally long, its neck seemed to long and thin to support its head. But the most unsettling thing about his creature was its long vicious claws.
After seeing that thing for myself I knew this was a serious matter, so I told my co-workers to not let that thing into the building, and then I took Alexandria into my office to hide. We hid there for almost an hour, but nothing happened so we exited the office. But the horror I came back to left my stomach in knots. The rooms and hallways were a mess, with papers and blood scattered throughout. I saw the bodies of my co-workers mauled and bloody, but the creature was nowhere to be found.
